The longtime rivalry between Mean Girls actress Lindsay Lohan and hotel heiress Paris Hilton is over. The two put aside their differences, as evidenced at a party earlier this week.
Apparently, Paris’dislike of Lohan had more to do with her friends’ issues rather than her own. A source close to the Simple Life star told press, “Paris was known as a bully … she would form alliances. If a friend didn’t like Lohan, then she wouldn’t like Lohan.”
The source continued, “But she’s through taking sides. She realized who her real friends were when she was in jail — and there weren’t many. Plus, she’s got to be in a good mood after the Blackstone Group bought the Hilton Hotels, boosting her inheritance.”
However, in the spirit of new beginnings and cleaning out the past, Paris gave Lohan the benefit of the doubt, and even stopped by her 21st birthday party. “Paris has decided to give Lindsay a second chance,” a source told press.

In light of recent events (sex tapes, jail stints, etc) that would make most ordinary people falter, Paris Hilton has managed to take the buzz and create a global brand, or shall we say empire?
The 26 year-old socialite has more to her financial portfolio that just the fact that she stands to inherit an estimated $300 million with her sister, Nicky Hilton, from the global hotel conglomerate Hilton Hotels Corporation, which was founded by her grandfather Conrad Hilton.
Paris has started her own entertainment company, Paris Hilton Entertainment, which primarily focuses on fashion designing with production lines in jeans, sportswear, shoes, purses, and she even has her own doggie line coming out in the near future.
She told Entertainment Tonight: “I have been working very hard. I’m 26-years-old now and started Paris Hilton Entertainment and my clothing line. My grandpa, my dad, my mom, everyone is so proud of me, so it feels really good to accomplish so much so young and to be an entrepreneur at 26.”
Regardless of people’s opinion of Paris Hilton’s moral and ethical codes of conduct, there is no argument that she is a marketing genius. Paris’ ability to promote herself has made her one of the most successful entrepreneurs of this generation, and she’s just getting started.
