While most celebrities were basking on the beach or attending various parties with family and friends, Audrina Patridge spent her Fourth of July weekend shopping and jet-setting.
The Hills hottie was spotted on Saturday stopping into a West Hollywood Rite Aid store (a former favorite of Britney Spears’). She emerged with a Starbucks bottled Vanilla Frappuccino beverage as she smiled for the paparazzi.
And Miss Patridge looked way hot in a very form-fitting blue scoopneck short dress with a red leather handbag and her usual aviator sunglasses.
After changing into a more loose-fitting black dress, Audrina was spotted with a gal pal at LAX International Airport making her way through the terminal as she prepared to depart.
According to FOX Pop Tarts’ Hollie McKay, Patridge was also spotted over the weekend at the Project Beach House inaugural all day/night party canoodling with her friend with benefits Bobby Campo.

Kate Hudson was spotted out to eat late last night at the Waverly Inn, meeting her mother, Goldie Hawn. After that, it was off to the Beatrice Inn with some gal pals for a night of fun.
The Raising Helen actress is back in headlines for recent comments surrounding her ex boyfriend, Owen Wilson, and his suicide attempt.
According to FOX PopTarts’ Hollie McKay, “Wilson’s dramatic downturn coincided with the weekend release of photos showing his ex-girlfriend Kate Hudson getting mushy in Malibu with new man Dax Shepard, and according to an insider, the loss of love sent him spinning.”
The FOX source tells, “Kate and Owen definitely had a very special connection and they will always have that connection, but for a number of reasons the relationship just didn’t work out. Hollywood is a hard place, and the pressure of trying to keep things personal got to them.”
And, according the the Wilson - Hudson relationship insider, it was Owen who really took a blow when the relationship came to its end.
“Kate was able to move on but Owen just wasn’t; she’s an amazing woman and Owen really thought he was with ‘the one.’ Everybody keeps saying it was all drugs, but it wasn’t. Clearly Owen was fighting for love.”

Celebrity siblings are always making the news. Just look at Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears, or the Jonas Brothers. Well none of the aforementioned family members have ever done what Penelope Cruz and her sister Monica did on tape!
The Cruz sisters appear in a lesbian lip lock on their younger brother’s music video, “Cosas Que Contar”. And according to a source of FOX Pop Tarts’ Hollie McKay, “the lesbian lip-lock between the Spanish siblings was the idea of their brother Eduardo, who was obviously seeking controversial PR.”
Meanwhile, according to Adam Weiss, the CEO of the Weiss PR group, the decision may have been a bad one for the “Vanilla Sky” actress.
Weiss told press, “I don’t think it was a wise move for Penelope, as she has always been considered a very classy actress and it wasn’t like she was doing this for a ground-breaking film. But then again, nothing in Hollywood is surprising. People have done worse things and become much more famous as a result.”
As for Monica Cruz’s endorsement deal with Spanish designer Mango, an insider told press that the video may help boost her appeal with consumers. “I don’t think the raunchy video will affect the high-end feel of the MNG fashion line. If anything, it will put Monica even more on the map and people will be interested to see her work.”

Decked out in roses, chocolate-covered strawberries, and champagne, the romantic setting was the perfect place to take their love a little ‘Higher.’
And speaking of ‘Higher,’ Heidi’s new single was the topic of conversation during a pre-Valentine’s celebration of video game “Burnout Paradise” on Tuesday night. And Spencer did all the talking.
According to Hollie McKay’s Fox News Pop Tarts, “Whenever anyone went to talk to Heidi about her new clothing collection, Heidi Wood, or her upcoming projects Spencer took over. He was so annoying; Heidi couldn’t get a word in so she just let him go. He definitely seems to play the dominant role in that relationship. She has no voice. He does all the talking on her behalf.”
