Want to know more about the cast of Gossip Girl?
Vanity Fair has done a piece on Gossip Girl profiling the likes and dislikes of its young Hollywood starlets. Amanda Seyfried, who’s starring in the upcoming film Mamma Mia! with Meryl Streep, wants to work with Michael Caine on day. When asked whether she drove a hybrid or an Escalade, she said, “Audi. Maybe I should drive a hybrid. I do have a shirt that says, ’Go Green.’ ” Well, that helps, I guess.
Blake Lively, who got her start playing Bridget in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, got the car question too: “Hybrid. Even if anybody picked the Escalade they wouldn’t say it, ’cause it’d be, like, bombed.”
VH1.com pointed out that in the article Gossip Girl ripped off a famous Friends photo. The pictures features each cast in evening gowns and tuxes while lugging champagne. Technically, Vanity Fair ripped off Friends. I feel indignant at any comparison, intentional or not, made between Friends (*cue choir of angels*) and Gossip Girl. 2008 BAFTA Awards: Red Carpet Arrivals
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards (BAFTA) for 2008 are being held in a ceremony at the Royal Opera House in London tonight (February 10).
And the stars have already made it to the red carpet for the Johnathan Ross hosted event - which just so happens to be the overseas equivalent to the American Academy Awards.
First to arrive on the red carpet was Comedian Ricky Gervais, followed by Hollywood starlets including Jessica Biel, Kate Hudson, Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley.

There was a definite surge of celebrity presence outside the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California last night. And “Hills” hotties Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, and Lauren Conrad were front row and center for the launch of the Scarlet HD TV Series.
Miss Montag looked surprisingly conservative in a black tank top-style shirt with a pair of black trousers and matching black peep-toe high heels.
Her beau Spencer Pratt (who is trying to get MTV to chronicle his wedding with Montag via a new reality show) sported his usual garb… a grey suit and a cheesy whitened smile.
And “Hills” costar/arch nemesis Lauren Conrad (who went nowhere near the peroxide pair) also showed up, looking stylish as usual in a black and white patterned sleeveless dress along with a pair of peep-toed pumps of her own.
Also in attendance for the series launch were Hollywood starlets Lindsay Lohan, Kristin Cavallari and Emmy Rossum.

While many Hollywood starlets will go out of their way for attention and compliments, Jessica Alba has been flowered with such high praise for her looks that she’s forced to try and disprove its validity.
The Into the Blue actress, who was spotted out yesterday continuing her search for a new house, recently commented to press about not letting the “Sexiest” polls go to her head.
“I don’t really think about it too much. I’m like everybody else. I get insecure about things just like everybody else. I wake up in the morning and think, What the hell am I going to do with my face today or my hair? What am I going to wear?”
Jessica continued, “People make me feel like … I’m not a person or superhuman or something because you’re on a list that’s being put together. But I understand that those magazines and those lists only exist just to give publicity for the magazine and publicity for the project that I’m in, and it’s not necessarily completely and totally true.”
