Typically when co-stars of the opposite sex are seen out at night on a date to the movies, relationship and hookup rumors are soon to follow.
But that’s not the case with Katherine Heigl and her Grey’s Anatomy pal T.R. Knight. With T.R. preferring the guys and Katherine happily engaged, it becomes quite evident that last night was simply two friends enjoying one another’s company.
Speaking of Katherine’s engagement, the 28-year-old actress recently spoke with InTouch about her upcoming nuptials with singer Josh Kelley on December 23rd.
In the interview, Heigl told that she’s still debating what look she’ll go with when it comes time to walk down the aisle.
“I have an idea, but it’s so dependent on the dress, and I haven’t gotten there yet. My sister is getting married too, so we looked for dresses together. After about five stores I was like, ‘I’m done.’ Everyone says ‘You just know when you put that dress on.’ My sister found the right dress just like that. So I know it can happen. But it’s grueling.”
On top of her wedding, Katherine is readying for promotional duties for “27 Dresses”, which has her playing a bridesmaid with a secret crush on the groom. The romantic comedy is due out in theaters in January 2008.

Dressed for the chilly NYC fall weather, Jessica Simpson was spotted arriving at the airport early Wednesday morning (November 14). The Dukes of Hazzard actress has told that she’s looking to move to the Big Apple to be close to her record label.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old Texan was recently all over the news for a series of dates with You, Me and Dupree actor Owen Wilson. But insiders say, it was all for publicity.
According to MSNBC, “a source close to the blond bombshell says that like her hookup with John Mayer, Simpson’s recent “dates” with Owen Wilson are meant to drum up good favor in the court of public opinion.”
“When Jess last had a new album coming out, that’s when she was introduced to John. She’s got her first country album coming out, so now she’s been conveniently introduced to Owen, who is a fellow Texan. Better yet, the public is sympathetic to him,” the insider told.
And now that Owen has moved on to another lady, model Le Call, it looks like the insider might just be right on the money. Or else, Owen decided that Jessica wasn’t for him.

Fresh off of a red carpet appearance at the premiere of Cloverfield, The Hills star Lauren Conrad was spotted at LAX Airport on Saturday readying to jet out of town.
LC was sporting a blue scarf with shades propped atop her head, sipping on an Odwalla pomegranate juice drink before making her way aboard the flight.
In a recent interview, Conrad’s ex, Brody Jenner, quelled rumors by telling that he is not dating Lauren, but went on to admit that he does have a girlfriend.
“I’m not allowed to talk about it but yes I do have a girlfriend and no her name is not Lauren Conrad,” he says.
Jenner also took the opportunity to dispel rumors of a hookup with Paris Hilton, saying: “I’ve never made out with Paris Hilton so that’s false. False rumors! I swear to God I’ve never kissed Paris before in my life.”

A new recording deal isn’t the only thing David Cook scored by winning American Idol last week.
After vanquishing David Archuleta, Cook apparently celebrated by squiring away second-season Idol babe Kimberly Caldwell.
Cook, 25, has been making the media rounds touting his hookup. On today’s Live With Regis and Kelly, he revealed that he and Caldwell, 26, had a dinner date last week. Things went so well, he said, “we’ll probably hang out again. So we’ll see.”
Which proves the old adage, if you can’t win Idol, date one.
