Spotted jetting out of LAX airport yesterday afternoon, Ashley Tisdale has already made a splash upon arriving at her tropical vacation destination.
Celebrating her 23rd birthday today (July 2), the Disney starlet sported a sexy bikini and straw hat in the hot Hawaiian sun as she began to enjoy a relaxing getaway with her family and boyfriend Jared Murillo.
Throughout the course of the day, the Tisdale family and Jared played around on the beach and got a little sun before heading out on a short sailing adventure.
Upon arrival home, Miss Tisdale is looking forward to the October release of “High School Musical 3″, along with the February 2009 debut of “They Came From Upstairs” - in which she takes on her first lead role.

Just arriving back in Los Angeles from Salt Lake City yesterday afternoon, Ashley Tisdale was spotted out for some much-needed pampering on what was her first full day back in town.
Accompanied by her mother Lisa, the Disney cutie headed on over to the Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills early Sunday morning (June 29) - leaving almost three hours later with a brand-new straightened hairdo.
As previously reported by , Miss Tisdale recently wrapped up the filming of “High School Musical 3″, which picks up with “High school seniors Troy and Gabriella struggling with the idea of being separated from one another as college approaches. Along with the rest of the Wildcats, they stage a spring musical to address their experiences, hopes and fears about their future.”
And now that HSM is behind her, the soon-to-be 23-year-old is also readying for the February 13th release of her first lead role in “They Came From Upstairs”.

Despite ongoing rumors that Penn Badgley and Blake Lively may be romantically linked in real life and despite this smoking-hot, sucky-face photo that just leaked out of the Hamptons (hot!), a source who works on Gossip Girl tells us (spoiler alert): “I’m pretty sure that’s for the show. They do kiss in the first episode.”
Regardless, the eye candy above should sweeten your day if you’re a fan, because not only does it mean Dan and Serena might not be totally over, it also comes with this news from the same insider: “The Hamptons episodes look amazing.” Did you hear that? Episodes. Turns out, Gossip Girl will be in the Hamptons for episodes one and two for the upcoming season.

Jeff Goldblum joins Law and Order: CI; Noth out
Hot off the news that NBC ordered sixteen new episodes of the show, Law and Order: CI has added Jeff Goldblum to the cast. And that means Chris Noth is out.
Goldblum will share lead duties with Vincent D’Onofrio on the USA Network show (new episodes air Sunday nights), and I’m not sure which actor is going to out-act the other. Both Goldblum and D’Onofrio are both well known for their rather quirky and/or intense acting styles. D’Onofrio does intense and explosive well, while Goldblum does strange and quiet well. No word on why Noth left.
This is really good news (that Goldblum is joining the show, not that Noth is leaving). I thought it was too bad that Goldblum’s last TV project, Raines, got cancelled by NBC only after a handful of episodes. It was actually an entertaining addition to the TV detective genre. No word yet on what character Goldblum will play, but wouldn’t it be all kinds of awesome if he reprised as role as Raines for the show (without the seeing of dead people bit)?
