Hollywood Awards Honors Zac Efron, Hairspray
Last night was a big night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The 11th Annual Hollywood Awards was held, and Zac Efron and his “Hairspray” crew definitely cleaned up.
Not only did the cast of the movie receive the prestigious “Hollywood Ensemble Acting of the Year Award,” but producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron were given the “Hollywood Producers of the Year Award” as well.
In addition, John Travolta, who dressed in drag for his role in the film, was honored with the “Hollywood Supporting Actor of the Year” title.
The cutie of the evening, as far as we are concerned, was definitely Zac, who kept it classic in a dark suit with white button-down shirt and a thin black tie. He was all smiles on the red carpet, charming the throng of fans bowing down to worship him.

Lindsay Lohan Almost Fell Off the Wagon
Lindsay Lohan Almost Fell Off the Wagon
After experiencing the “Rehab Summer of 2008″ you’d think Lindsay Lohan would be vehemently against any further alcohol consumption. But you’d be wrong.
According to reports at the Viceroy Hotel in Los Angeles, the Georgia Rule actress attempted to order a drink for herself on Friday, October 19th. But thanks to her aides, LiLo was refused the libation.
Reportedly, Lindsay’s sober aides have gone above and beyond the call of duty, and visited all of her old hangouts, telling the staff not to serve her. And it’s working.
A witness told press, “She was fine at first, but it was obviously too soon for her to be around people who were drinking, because she later asked the server for a vodka. But her people had called ahead and servers were told not to give in no matter how often Lindsay asked for alcohol.”
Another source said, “I heard the waitress say that she was sorry but she wasn’t allowed to serve her. Lindsay walked out soon after, looking embarrassed.”
Lohan’s people are denying the validity of the story.
