Cameron Diaz: Relationship Update

Cameron Diaz: Relationship Update

Just like the rest of us, celebrities work hard to maintain their fit physiques.  And Cameron Diaz was spotted yesterday after a grueling workout in Los Angeles.

The “Charlie’s Angels” hottie chatted incessantly on her mobile phone as she walked back to her car from the gym sporting a white scoopneck top, black yoga pants, and a pair of sneakers.

In related news, it sounds like Cameron has solved her problem of singleness with an English model.  That’s right, Jennifer Aniston’s ex Paul Sculfor has reportedly moved into Diaz’s Hollywood Hills home.

An insider reveals, “Cameron and Paul have been spending every night together.  He doesn’t have a house in LA and Cameron doesn’t mind him staying with her. When he dated Jen Aniston he used to stay at hotels, but Cameron likes him a lot and always wants to be around him.”

Ad placement gone wrong - VIDEO

hotels.comDigg has noticed a case of really unfortunate ad placement for Hotels.com during an ABC news cast. Right after a commercial airs touting the hotel bargains at the site, a news report begins about how Hotels.com users are at risk for credit card fraud.

Video after the jump…

At least we can be certain that news reporting is not being influenced by advertisers. Or maybe Hotels.com simply doesn’t have the influence that, say, the tobacco lobby once had.

I do wonder what event the newscast was talking about (it was cut off before enough details could be given). I think it was this news item from 2006 which involved a stolen laptop from an Ernst & Young auditor which contained the credit card information for Hotels.com users. In which case it represents a security breach more of Ernst & Young than Hotels.com. You’d think the crew behind Tech Watch would have at least moved the commercial to a different commercial break to alleviate the irony.

Have any of you seen a similar situation of an unfortunately placed commercial?

Hilary Swank Steals Shampoo

Hilary Swank Steals Shampoo

Making an appearance at the “A Time For Peace” awards last night, Hilary Swank was quite the stunner.  And may we just say that Oprah’s haircutting idea was a great move!

Swank was dressed to impress in a black sleeveless shin-length dress, complete with sparkly accents and black shoes.  Despite her elegant ensemble, the “Million Dollar Baby” star likes to steal hotel toiletries just like the rest of us.

She told press, “I find it really difficult to walk away from hotels and not take the little shampoos they give you. Because I travel so much, I have cupboards full of the little free shampoos.”

Hilary confesses, “It’s probably my worst habit. It’s disgusting. I’m like ‘Hilary, walk away from the shampoo.’”

Amy Winehouse’s Kebab Shop Stop

Amy Winehouse’s Kebab Shop Stop

Following a trip to the Pentonville prison to visit her incarcerated hubby Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy Winehouse headed on over to a local London kebab shop for a lunchtime snack.

The Rehab singer playfully made a few of her infamous faces and waved to the paparazzi as she chomped on french fries and a sandwich.

From there, Winehouse made her way back to her place - laughingly trying to open her front door numerous times before realizing she was using the wrong keys.

Meanwhile, in related news, Amy’s mom recently revealed to press that her battle with multiple sclerosis has prevented being able to help in the recovery of her troubled daughter.

Janis Winehouse, 52, explained: “I can’t be there for Amy as I would like to be because I have my health to consider. My MS is under control at present, but I know that if I was to get heavily involved in Amy’s problems that things could get worse for me.”

Amy’s mom continued: “I have to keep a lid on what I do. I would like to be there more for Amy but I know, in the long run, it might be better for her to have a mum who is in reasonable health. I just can’t do all that running around to hotels and to wherever there’s been a problem. I physically can’t cope with all the running around that Mitch (Amy’s dad) does to try and keep her out of trouble. I had a relapse recently and I don’t want to provoke another one. Mitch does a great job on behalf of both of us.”
