Bethenny Frankel never seemed like a traditional hausfrau (maybe that’s why we like her so much), but as of this weekend the Real Housewives of New York City star is probably closer to being a domestic goddess than the countess or Jill Zarin are ever gonna get.
The single but trying reality star just launched a line of vegan cupcakes and other healthy treats called Bethenny Bakes at the BridgeMarket Food Emporium in Manhattan Sunday, and she was even on hand to sign autographs.
No word if Bethenny or her healthy fare will make it out to L.A., so in the meantime did anyone have a chance to sample the wholesome pastries? If so, you gotta let us know if they’re any good. Specifically, are they tasty enough to support her boyfriend, Jason, since he apparently lost his Wall Street job after appearing on the show?

She doesn’t exactly come off as a Martha Stewart-esque homemaker on the show but Bethenny Frankel really knows her way around the kitchen. The star of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York City has launched her own line of baked goods. The NYC cougar is bringing us vegan cupcakes and other healthy desserts. The line is called Bethenny Bakes and she launched her new company at the Bridge Market Food Emporium in Manhattan on Sunday. Some of the products include lemon cupcakes, banana oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, fudge chocolate chip muffins, and blueberry muffins. There is no word on whether or not these will be in stores outside of New York.
I wonder if these treats actually taste good. More importantly, I wonder if Bethenny’s boyfriend will help her run the business. He lost his Wall Street job as an executive at Patriarch Partners, LLC because he appeared on the show.
Marcia Crossed on the Road
Marcia Cross hit a bump in the road yesterday.
The Desperate Housewives star was behind the wheel Wednesday afternoon when her Lexus RX collided with another car, which, judging from pictures taken at the scene, sustained a significant amount of front-end damage.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene, with Cross’ SUV appearing to have been none too much the worse for wear. No injuries were mentioned, and no police report was filed.
“There is no report with her name in the system. And we would only have taken a report if there were injuries,” LAPD spokeswoman Julie Sohn told News.
The fender bender occurred around 2 p.m., according to Access Hollywood, which first reported the incident.
It’s unclear whether the 46-year-old actress was alone at the time of the crash, but it’s known that her year-old twin daughters were not along for the ride.

Tony Parker is a lucky man. He’s an NBA Champ, and married to Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria. As it turns out, she’s an amazing chef, who claims, “I cook anything he wants to eat- everything. I mean, every day it’s a different date.” And now, she’s in talks to open a new restaurant.
Eva’s new gig, reportedly named BESO, is described as specializing in Mexican-American cuisine. And the 32-year-old actress can’t wait for the doors to open.
She told press, “I love to cook! I’m a big, big cooker in my family, so this is kind of an extension of my house. I feel like everybody’s going to be in my living room.”
Longoria enlisted the help of celebrity chef Todd English, and says she gave BESO some personal touches. “I’m so involved, I picked the uniforms. A lot of these are my recipes. We’ve developed a really fun menu.”
