What If Michael Bay Wrote The Dark Knight?

“Bruce: We hack the internet.
Alfred: Hack the internet?
Bruce: Yes, hack the internet.
General: No one’s ever hacked the internet before.
Bruce: Well, there’s a first time for everything.
General: Okay, I like it. But which one of the internets do we hack?
Bruce: All of them.”
Sound like a Michael Bay film? Wait, there’s more!
“We pan to a beautiful woman: platinum blonde with a huge rack. She is the hottest woman in the world, but she wears glasses because she is also the smartest woman in the world.”
That is a description of Rachel Dawes, played by Maggie Gyllenhaal in the soon to be released Dark Knight. These golden nuggets of humour come from Michael Bay’s version of The Dark Knight…which Michael Bay did not write. Spill.com did. Although, they do capture the spirit of a Michael Bay film. Lots of nonsense, good looking females and explosions. Oh and cars.

Superhero Movie Trailer
I can remember reading something about this movie a while ago. The Scary Movie 3 and 4 team were going to have a take at the superhero movie genre. We’ve had Date Movie and Epic Movie spoofs, so why not superheroes? I thought we were going to get some spoofs of Spiderman, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Batman, Superman etc. Well after watching the trailer I was disappointed. Instead of getting a rather cool spoof movie, were getting a movie spoofing the first Spiderman film. By watching the trailer we can see that yet again break dancing is part of the humour. We had pirates doing it in Epic Movie, Spartans doing it in Meet The Spartans and now Dragonfly Man. I for one, am getting tired of break dancing in spoof movies. These so called ‘comedy writers’ need new ideas. Yet again we have people falling over, running into things and getting stabbed by random objects. Check it out:
Joel David Moore Talks Avatar! Iron Man vs Avatar Set Battles?
Things have been rather quiet recently regarding Avatar. Actress Michelle Rodriguez spent Christmas in jail for being naughty and then was released 18 days later, which could have affected the filming schedule in some way. The movie has been filming for a good amount in 2007 and will wrap things up this February (if everything goes as planned). One of the rather unknown yet talented actors, Joel David Moore, spoke to Collider about a couple of things. However, there are always restricted due to the contracts that had to be signed, so rather than turn the interview into an awkward ‘no comment’ situation, it turns to humour. Joel talks about how he came to land a role in the sci fi epic, what filming was like, and what really happened while filming over the road from Iron Man?
