Denise Richards: Court and Therapy

Denise Richards: Court and Therapy

Well, there’s certainly no shortage of material for Denise Richards’ new reality show.  And if things continue as they have, she’ll have a 10-season run on her hands.

The “Wild Things” babe was spotted at court today for an undisclosed matter regarding her tumultuous custody battle with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen.

Via cell phone, Richards told E! News’ Ryan Seacrest, “I am actually sitting in the parking lot of the courthouse…again.  I am sure everyone will hear about it and read about it later.”

She continued, “He [Sheen] decided to take me to court this morning, so I’m sitting in the parking lot…If he’s here, we will see each other today.  He’s the one taking me to court. He should be here.”

Denise expressed her dismay over the constant bickering, saying, “This is ugly and it’s embarrassing and it’s humiliating. It’s not healthy for our kids. I hope that we can resolve everything. It’s very sad for our children. This is not good.  For the girls’ sake, the best thing would be for he and I to be cordial…It could happen on my part. That’s all I can say.”

Yesterday Miss Richards was spotted on her way to family therapy with her two daughters, hopefully to get the help they need.

She has a hot new reality show beaming over the airwaves, and her ex-husband Charlie Sheen recently remarried… Translation: Denise Richards has a lot going on!

The “Wild Things” beauty was spotted at the A Time For Heroes Celebrity Carnival to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation held yesterday at the Wadsworth Theater.

And she looked breathtaking in a belted white floor-length embroidered dress along with a pair of matching white flip flops.

Denise’s ex-hubby recently made some pretty harsh public comments about the “It’s Complicated” reality princess, marking the latest chapter in their widely-publicized feud.

He told press, “I think it’s no accident that whatserface chose this time to do what she did. It’s pretty obvious that Brooke and I, through our actions and union, are moving on with our lives. Perhaps somebody else should consider the same.”

“I’m tired of talking about her and all her shenanigans. It is what it is. I don’t even care anymore. I’m going to take a public stand to basically never utter her name publicly again, and I think if that’s known it will put an end to some of the drama.”

Wearing a long red summer dress and sunglasses, Denise Richards was out covering up a piece of her past with the help of L.A. Ink’s team in Hollywood on Friday afternoon (March 21).

The former actress reportedly reworked an old tattoo on her ankle that once proclaimed her love for Charlie Sheen.

And the move may be motivated by Charlie’s efforts to prevent their daughters from appearing on her upcoming reality show.

Charlie’s dad, Martin Sheen, has publicly called Richards’ decision to thrust his two grandchildren into the spotlight “a mistake” and “unfortunate.”

And Brooke Mueller (Denise’s ex-husband Charlie Sheen’s fiancée) told press, “Charlie and I both think it’s exploitative and not good.” Charlie added, “I think we should all just boycott the damn thing.”

In light of her recent scathing reprimands from ex-husband Charlie Sheen and his father Martin, Denise Richards has relied on her family for love and support.

Yesterday the “Wild Things” actress was spotted spending some serious dough at the Juicy Couture boutique at Cross Creek in Malibu, California.  And by her side was her father, Irv Richards.

Speaking of family, Denise recently told press that when it comes to talking body image, she tries to make sure she doesn’t indirectly rub off on her daughters.

She asserted, “I’ll never talk about weight around them.  And they’ll never hear me say, ‘Mommy’s feeling fat today.’ That kind of attitude just makes young girls grow up to be dissatisfied with their bodies.”

Instead, Richards tries to set a good example for Sam (4) and Lola (2) by staying active and working out on a regular basis.  “Working out is part of my life, not just an I-have-to-get-ready-for-a-photo-shoot thing.  I exercise almost every day. The girls usually play in the workout room with me, so they’re learning by example.”
