Bilson and Bell Do Spike TV’s Video Game Awards
Usually when you think about video games you think about teenage guys sitting around pounding Mountain Dew and going blind from staring at the TV. But Rachel Bilson and Kristen Bell destroyed that stereotype.
The two TV hotties were spotted at the 5th Annual Spike TV Video Game Awards at the Mandalay Bay Events Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
Kristen Bell provided enough eye candy to distract the gamers from their games. She wore a champagne colored strapless sparkly dress with a pair of strappy heels.
And Rachel Bilson was the icing on the cake for the video game lovers. She wore a silver shimmery sleeveless top with black pants and a killer smile.
As for the musical side of things, Foo Fighters and Kid Rock both took the stage to entertain the Spike TV guests.
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher: Completely In Love
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher: Completely In Love
Doing their best to stay incognito while heading out to an awaiting limousine, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were spotted post-landing at LAX airport in Los Angeles, California on Thursday (May 29).
The 45-year-old Ghost actress appeared quite casual with her hair down and strange tattoo-like markings on both wrists. Ashton, meanwhile, looked a bit unkempt in a tan jacket with a Red Sox cap.
Kutcher, who’s 15 years younger than Moore, recently spoke with Britain’s Daily Mail - saying “marrying Demi and becoming a stepfather to her three daughters has made him happier than he could ever have imagined.”
He tells: “Demi has made me complete. And the girls are the icing on the cake that is my life. The love they give me is open and unconditional and everything I do revolves around making them as happy as they have made me.”
Addressing the age gap between himself and Moore, Ashton explains: “My whole life, I’ve always been around older people. My friends were always a little bit older and when I was young, I spent a lot of time with my mom and her friends. I mean, I feel so darn grown up now I’m 30, even though the number is inconsequential. It should be all about where you are in life and how much responsibility you’ve taken on, not how old you are. For me, turning 30 was just an excuse to throw a party.”
Adrian’s Reckless Partnership
Adrian Grenier has added another guy-behind-the-guy to his posse.
Looking for a steadier stream of financing for his filmmaking aspirations, the Entourage star's Reckless Productions has announced a partnership with Northern California investment group J. Loar, Inc.
Grenier founded his shingle in 2007 with the hopes of turning out documentaries and films with positive messages, such as his 2002 directorial debut Shot in the Dark, about the actor's years-long search for his estranged father, which premiered last year on HBO.
"John Loar and I share the same values," the actor said Tuesday. "It's exciting to work with someone with a good heart who wants to put his financial muscle towards creative and socially conscious projects."
"We're matching private equity funds up with expertise, production experience and celebrity," Loar added. "When there is social good, as is the case on these two projects, then it's icing on the cake."
Seth Rogen Is High on Huey Lewis
Huey Lewis & the News has a new drug.
And Seth Rogen is the one who got them hooked on it.
The “I Want a New Drug” hit makers from the ’80s have recorded the theme song for Pineapple Express, Rogen’s upcoming summer comedy that he wrote and costars in. Rogen plays a stoner and James Franco is his dealer. The two find themselves on the run from some really bad dudes after Rogen’s character witnesses a murder. Pineapple Express is the name of the fictional strain weed that Franco’s character sells.
Rogen's filmmaking funnyman pal Judd Apatow coproduced Pineapple.
“We were in the editing room one day when me and Seth were geeking out about the tone of the movie and how we think it captures what we love about '80s movies,” director David Gordon Green tells me. “We thought, what would be the icing on the cake, and Seth came up with Huey Lewis and the News.”
Before they knew it, Lewis screened the movie and sent them some lyrics. “We told him that we wanted a theme song that told the plot of the movie and said the title a lot,” Green said. “It’s very '80s-inspired and very Back to the Future-esque.”
