Hellboy meets Chuck - VIDEO
In an effort to promote Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Universal Pictures is releasing a series of strange and humorous commercials. The first involved James Lipton interviewing Hellboy. Not Ron Perlman, but the character of Hellboy himself. The second has Hellboy meeting the title character from NBC’s Chuck (and I love how Ron Perlman’s character refers to Zachary Levi’s character as “Chucky”).
Hellboy is being distributed by Universal and since Universal and NBC are the same entity, I can understand how a crossover between the two is possible. I do wonder if there will be any promotion for the movie when the new season of Chuck begins. Probably not, since the film will have already left the theaters. Still, a Ron Perlman appearance as any character on the show would be kind of cool.
The patter between the two is great as they play video games. The question of “why doesn’t the government let us out more often” is hilarious.
Pushing Daisies' Kristin Chenoweth Injured
Well, this isn't any fun at all.
I've just heard from reliable sources that Kristin Chenoweth, the beloved Broadway superstar who is a series regular on ABC's much buzzed about new series Pushing Daisies, slipped and fell at home down a concrete staircase and fractured a few ribs.
Sources tell me she's recovering and is such a trouper that she's determined not to affect Daisies' production schedule. However, producers have insisted on moving around a few scenes in order to give her as much rest as possible. Kristin is back on set today.
Just last week, I was inside the "pie hole" (Pushing Daisies' truly fantastic restaurant set) interviewing Ms. Chenoweth, and I can tell you that she is just about the sweetest, spunkiest and most glowingly positive person you could ever meet. Here's wishing her a very fast and thorough recovery.
In the meantime, let's keep our favorite actresses away from slippery staircases, okay? First Jenna Fischer, now Kristin Chenoweth. All you sweet and talented TV women, please, be careful out there!

I just scored a video clip from Morgan Spurlock’s Super Size Me follow-up, Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden. The video clip features Spurlock visiting a reality based personal protection training center where they teach him how to survive everything from hand grenade attacks to sniper attacks in preparation of his journey to find Osama. Watch the video below.
Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden premieres at the Sundance Film Festival later today. I’m seeing the film tomorrow and will be interviewing the man himself later this week.

Nicole Richie Confirms Pregnancy
As if we needed to ask! She’s all but completely disappeared from the party scene, and no one has spotted her in the public eye lately. And finally Nicole Richie came clean about her bun in the oven.
Diane Sawyer was interviewing Nicole when the question came up. The Simple Life star said simply, “Yes I am… I’m almost four months.” Thus, the rumors have finally been proven true.
Joel Madden, of Good Charlotte, is the father of the child (although there have been reports that he demanded a paternity test during a recent quarrel), and he’s pretty happy about the whole thing.
His brother told press, “Joel is really happy with Nicole. They love playing with their dogs; they love hanging out at the house together. Nicole is awesome.”
Their time to just hang out may be coming to a close, though. Joel, his brother, and the rest of the Good Charlotte crew are scheduled to begin touring with Justin Timberlake starting next week. Check their site for the shows near you. After all, now you can say you’ve seen Nicole Richie’s baby daddy!
