Rachel Bilson Gets Her Shopping Fix
Rachel Bilson Gets Her Shopping Fix
Getting a much-needed shopping fix, Rachel Bilson was spotted in the Meatpacking district of New York City on Tuesday morning (June 17).
Accompanied by a guy pal, the former OC babe combed the racks at shops including Alexander McQueen, Butik and Jeffery before taking a break for a bite to eat.
In related news, Rachel’s box office hit “Jumper” just came out on DVD a week ago - and she’s been busily interviewing as part of her press duties.
Recently chatting with the AP, Rachel revealed that she felt a little uncomfortable filming love scenes with co-star-turned-boyfriend Hayden Christensen in the sci-fi thriller.
“It’s always awkward and hard to film love scenes, it’s so unnatural, and it’s mechanical,” she said. “Actually Doug [Liman, director] made it very free and we went with it - and a shot of alcohol always helps ease the nerves.”
Despite the uneasiness, Rachel added that she had a wonderful time making the film with Hayden, Jamie Bell and Samuel L Jackson.
“It was so fantastic, the whole experience,” she said. “We all became close friends, but I also respect all of them as actors so I got to learn things from them. I was very fortunate.”

Rachel Bilson Takes Sis to See Kit Kettridge
With her little sister Hattie in tow, Rachel Bilson attended the world premiere of the new movie “Kit Kittredge: An American Girl” at The Grove in Los Angeles on Saturday (June 14).
The former star of The OC looked to be in high spirits as she smilingly posed on the red carpet before escorting her sis and a friend in for the screening.
In related news, Rachel recently interviewed with Sun Media for a piece related to the DVD release of her hit movie Jumper (which hit stores this past Tuesday), talking about her the usually hush subject of her co-star boyfriend, Hayden Christensen.
“Hayden, he’s a real guy, a guy’s guy, but also sensitive. He’s got both going for him. Strong male characteristics but also vulnerable. You feel for him. It’s a good balance,” Bilson tells.
Explaining her position on doing a Jumper sequel, something Christensen and fellow co-star Jamie Bell have already said yes to, Rachel tells: “Yes! We’re such a good group, first of all. We had such a great time working together. And the concept is so cool and there is so much to explore with it that I think it would be fun.”
Defiance Poster And Daniel Craig Has Hurt His Finger!
First Showing got a poster for Defiance staring Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber, and Jamie Bell. The trailer looks good so I will probably end up seeing this.

In other Daniel Craig news, he has apparently had an accident on the set of Quantum of Solace:
Mr Craig was filming the new film Quantum of Solace at Pinewood Studios, Bucks, when he cut off the tip of one finger in an action sequence.
This finger injury comes days after Tom Hanks injured his finger while filming Angels & Demons.
Note to actors: Take care of your fingers
