Zack and Miri Make a Porno Teaser Trailer
Kevin Smith has released the first internet teaser trailer for Zack and Miri Make a Porno. The teaser trailer appears to be a set of improvised lines or outtakes, from a scene where Zack and Miri are auditioning potential cast members for their porno.
“Don’t call it a trailer, ’cause it’s not a trailer; it’s a teaser,” warns Smith. “There ain’t a frame of footage in this puppy that’s in the actual flick, so feel free to watch it without fear of ‘spoilers’. This is just a little something to give you a bit of a feel for the flick.“

Rumor has it that the film’s theatrical trailer will be attached to Pineapple Express, which also happens to star Seth Rogen.
Zack and Miri are two lifelong friends who are so deep in debt that they decide to enlist the help of their friends to make a porno movie for some quick cash. But as everybody starts “doing” everybody, Zack and Miri realize that they may have more feelings for each other than they previously thought. The film stars Seth Rogen, Elizabeth Banks, Craig Robinson, Traci Lords, Katie Morgan, Ricky Mabe, Jeff Anderson, and Jason Mewes.
Zack and Miri Make a Porno hits theaters on October 31st 2008.
First Official Look: Kevin Smith’s Zack and Miri Make a Porno
With less than two weeks left on principal photography, the first photo from Kevin Smith’s new comedy Zack and Miri Make a Porno has hit the interwebs. The film stars Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks as broke friends who decide to make a porn video to pay off their debts. “In the process, they uncover romantic feelings for each other.”
“The two leads (and entire cast) have remained brilliant. The first porno scene is spellbinding; funniest scene I’ve ever put on film,” Smith writes on his official website. “And ladies? [Jason] Mewes does full-frontal.”
Jeff Bock, an analyst with movie tracking firm Exhibitor Relations, claims that Zack and Miri Make a Porno is “one of the best titles of the year,” and that with Seth Rogen as the leading man, Smith has the potential of making more than his usual $20-$30 million.
“What’s weird about it is, it’s dirty. But it’s so incredibly sweet,” Smith told the newspaper.
Expect Zack and Miri Make a Porno to hit theaters sometime in Fall 2008.

Zack and Miri Make a Movie Trailer
Kevin Smith is hard at work filming and editing his latest, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, which stars Seth Rogen, Elizabeth Banks, Craig Robinson, and Jason Mewes. Our friends at NewsAskew are reporting that the current hope is to have the official movie trailer attached to Pineapple Express, the Judd Apatow-produced Seth Rogen comedy which hits theaters on August 8th 2008.
This means that Zack and Miri would probably hit theaters in October or November. Clerks and Mallrats were released in the month of October, while Smith’s highest grossing domestic release, Dogma, hit theaters in November. So I’m thinking that November is probably the smart bet. The timing could also be perfect for a premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. This is all just speculation.

Elizabeth Banks is F*cking Seth Rogen
In Kevin Smith’s new movie Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Elizabeth Banks has sex with Seth Rogen (or so we assume from the title. Sarah Silverman’s music video “I’m F*cking Matt Damon” resulted in Jimmy Kimmel’s response “I’m F*cking Ben Affleck”. Kevin Smith has figured out a genius way to capitalize on this recent viral craze to promote his new movie, and has released the first parody with Elizabeth Banks singing “I’m Fucking Seth Rogen”.
It doesn’t have the production values and superstar cameos, but is laugh out loud funny. The video features cameos from Zack and Miri co-stars Jason Mewes, Traci Lords, Craig Robinson, Jeff Anderson, Katie Morgan and Ricky Mabe. Watch the NSFW video below.
