When you’re a big time celebrity, one birthday celebration is never enough. And though Jessica Simpson turns 28 on Thursday (July 10th), she was spotted getting things started a bit early last night (July 7).
The pop-singer-turned-country was seen enjoying a romantic dinner out at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, California joined by her boyfriend Tony Romo, as well as sister Ashlee and her hubby Pete Wentz.
Clad in a beautiful form-fitting, cleavage-baring purple dress along with a pair of brown leather cowboy boots, Jessica and Co. finished up at the Sagebrush and then headed out to do a little partying.
They decided on the Key Club for drinks and dancing into the wee hours of the night. If her pre-birthday night was this much fun, you gotta wonder what’s in store this Thursday!

Getting a jump-start on her skills as an aunt (her sister Ashlee will be giving birth later this year) Jessica Simpson was spotted carrying a friend’s baby yesterday (July 2).
The “With You” singer was joined by her BFF hairstylist Ken Paves and a few pals for lunch at a restaurant in Santa Monica, California.
And the aspiring country singer was looking her part in a denim jacket overtop a beautiful blue and white printed summer dress teamed with a pair of aviator sunglasses.
According to press, Jessica met her boyfriend Tony Romo’s parents this past weekend. The still-going-strong couple flew out to Janesville, Wisconsin to have dinner with the Romos at their local Olive Garden.
A witness reports that things went well. “She scooted up next to him during the meal. They were acting like a couple. They were laughing. It was just a big family being out.”

Reports that Anderson has lashed out against Simpson for wearing a T-shirt recently that read “Real Girls Eat Meat” have been greatly exaggerated…
Yes, the former Baywatch babe called Simpson a “bitch” and a “whore” during an Australian radio show, but her tone was way more cracking a funny than battle cry.
The star of E!’s new reality series Pam: Girl On the Loose laughed when one of the radio hosts, Jackie O, asked her about the T-shirt and explained, “This is the first time I’ve heard about it.”
When the other host, Kyle, suggested that Simpson’s tee was more adult than animal themed, Anderson cracked. “She was not referring to actual, you know, cows and chickens. I think she was referring to men.”
Meanwhile, I hear Anderson is driving to Las Vegas this weekend to celebrate her birthday (she turns 41 tomorrow). The roadtrip will apparently include a stop at the world’s largest thermometer (it’s 134 feet tall) in scorching hot desert town Baker, Calif., to cook veggie burgers on the pavement.
