Two-Face Concept Art?
Photo Removed at Request from Warner Bros
I guess that confirms that it was legit
Could this be actual concept artwork showing us what Two-Face’s “other side”? ComicBookResources seems to think so. Click on the image to see the unblurred spoilerific photo. One thing is for sure, this isn’t Joel Schumacher‘s Two-Face… Ad even if the photo above isn’t real, I’m sure the end result will probably be pretty similar. What do you guys think?
Lost Boys 2 Movie Trailer #2

Okay, I understand that most of you, including Hunter, are not happy with the movie trailer for The Lost Boys direct-to-dvd sequel, Lost Boys: The Tribe. But I think that everyone’s expectations were just so unreasonable high. Many people forget that this project began as nothing more than a direct-to-dvd movie without any returning stars. I also think that many fans are blinded by the nostalgia of the original film. I love the original Lost Boys, but I have had the perspective to step back and look at it for what it was. Lost Boys is not a masterpiece. Some moments are downright cheesy. Heck, it’s a Joel Schumacher film (yeah, the same guy who made Batman and Robin). So yes, with The Tribe, the special effects are bad, and the acting is a little worse, but it’s better than nothing at all in my mind.
Today, Warner Bros has released a second, longer, movie trailer for The Lost Boys II: The Tribe. Watch it and as always, tell me your thoughts in the comments below (this time I’m sure I’m going to get blasted).
Discuss: Is anyone still interested in Lost Boys 2: The Tribe?

One Missed Call - The Worst Reviewed Movie in Over a Year
Last week I saw a press screening of One Missed Call. And by press screening, I mean a screening at 10:00pm pt the day before the film was released nationally. I’m not entirely sure why studios offer such last minute screenings, as most publications have a deadline earlier in the week. I think they basically hold these type of screenings as a way to say “see, we screened it for you, you just didn’t come.” Because not many press show up at these last minute showings, and they know that will be the case. That’s probably why they dump the worst of the worst movies on Thursday nights, hoping that no press will actually show up.
One Missed Call was worse than I ever imagined it could be. Even the audiencing was laughing throughout at moments that were intended to be scary, but instead came off as stupid or over-the-top. I told my local publicist while exiting the theater that it was “The Worst movie of the year,” adding “but it’s only been three days.” But truth is, I racked my brain, trying to think of the last movie I had seen which may have been worse. Last year’s Joel Schumacher thriller The Number 23 starring Jim Carrey quickly entered my mind, but even that was more enjoyable. So I brought my quest to the one website that makes movie reviews their business - Rotten Tomatoes.
It came to no surprise that One Missed Call is officially “The Worst Reviewed Film of the year (So Far)” according to the numbers laid out. The film is currently getting a dismal 0% tomatoemeter rating with 48 reviews. But truth is, only six other films in history have gotten over 40 reviews and currently hold strong (or should it be weak?) at a 0% positive critic rating:
- Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever
- Roberto Benigni’s Pinocchio
- King’s Ransom
- Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2
- National Lampoon’s Gold Diggers
- Crossover
The last of which is a teen streetball craptackular called Crossover, which was released in September of 2006. So the answer is:
One Missed Call is the Worst Reviewed Movie of the last 16 Months.
Trivia: Daddy Day Camp might have earned the highly coveted 0% tomatoemeter rating if it wasn’t for Fred Topel, a movie critic who wrote that the “story actually provides a strong moral center about fathers and sons communicating.”
Thanks to the Rotten Tomatoes team of Jen Yamato, Alex Vo, and Tim Ryan for their help with this report.
Corey Feldman and Corey Haim Return for The Lost Boys 2
When Warner Bros announced that they were making a sequel to The Lost Boys, we were furious. Not only was it a sequel, but a direct-to-dvd sequel. Those are notoriously the worst because they usually became a remake of the original featuring an entirely new cast of bad actors and a horribly revamped script.
But there is good news afterall, according to Bloody-Disgusting - the two-Corey’s are back! Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander are returning as the Frog Brothers, and Corey Haim will be reprising his role as Sam Emerson. Not only that but Angus Sutherland, Keifer’s half-brother (and son of Donald Sutherland) will star as this film’s vampire villian. How cool is that? Tad Hilgenbrink (Amusement) and Autumn Reeser (The O.C.) are signed to star in the film. Let’s hope they aren’t in the film too much.
The original film was released in 1987, and followed a group of kids from Santa Clara, CA who come up against a gang of motorcycle riding teenage vampires. Keifer Sutherland played the big bad vampire leader in the original, which was directed by Joel Schumacher.
From Dusk Till Dawn 3 director P.J. Pesce will start shooting The Lost Boys: The Tribe next week. I don’t know how they did it, but Warner Home Video all of a sudden got me excited about a direct-to-dvd sequel. Sure, it will probably suck - but at least it will feel like a somewhat real sequel.
Last month on their new reality television show, Feldman broke the news to his best friend Haim that Warner Brothers were making a direct-to-dvd sequel without them. Haim started crying. You can watch that footage here.
