She was admitted to the maternity ward of Lenval Hospital in Nice, France earlier this week. And it has just been announced that Angelina Jolie’s doctor will be addressing the press regarding the “Girl, Interrupted” actress’ condition within the hour.
Hospital spokeswoman Nadine Bauer confirmed that Ang’s doctor, Michel Sussmann, will be giving a report to the media at 11:30 am ET.
“Madame Jolie’s doctor will be updating her condition at the hospital and giving medical details,” said Bauer. “Madame Jolie is doing very well.”

Warner Bros. Calls Off Aniston-Jolie Face-Off
Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston’s box-office face-off has been called off.
The big-screen showdown (and de facto blogger field day) was originally set for Oct. 24, the day both Changeling, starring Jolie, and He’s Just Not That Into You, starring Aniston and a host of other A-listers, were set to open.
Which means Brad Pitt will remain the only person forced to choose between the two.
Warner Bros. confirmed today that it has bumped the release date of Aniston’s vehicle back several months, to Feb. 6, 2009.
No reason was given for the delay, the film’s second overall, though it wouldn’t have been much of a battle to begin with.
Changeling, directed by Clint Eastwood, is only scheduled to open in limited release, while the bonanza that will be He’s Just Not That Into You will no doubt be theatrically unavoidable.
Angelina Jolie’s World Refugee Day PSA
Angelina Jolie is proving, once again, she is more than just a pretty face.
She’s a pretty face with a good cause.
The soon-to-be mother of twins appears in a new public service announcement seeking to raise awareness for World Refugee Day this Friday.
“They have survived war, they have survived displacement, they have survived rape, they have survived hunger and disease. For those who have survived and for those who did not, we are thinking of you on this day,” says Jolie, a Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations Refugee Agency.
Jolie will also be penning an article to appear in a major U.S. newspaper to mark Friday’s occasion.
Angelina Jolie Talks Sin City 2
Angelina Jolie took time off from being pregnant and did the promotion rounds for Wanted. While doing these rounds MTV asked Jolie about Sin City 2. Back in 2006, Rosario Dawson said that Robert Rodriguez was putting the whole thing on hold due to Jolie’s pregnancy. Well time has pasted, Jolie gave birth…then got pregnant again with twins…and will give birth again at some point I presume. So maybe if she’s done adding to the ever growing human population could she take on the role of Ava Lord in Sin City 2?
“I don’t know,” the actress admitted, “I found the first ‘Sin City’ impressive, but I don’t know what they’re going to do with the next one to make [it] as original as the first one,” Jolie said.
But if there’s any trepidation at all on Jolie’s part as to whether or not Miller and Co. can keep the story fresh and invigorating, it’s not for lack of respect.
“I think he’s a genius,” Jolie said of Miller, who masterminded the original graphic novel and co-directed the first film. “I’d be curious [if offered].”
Rachel Weisz was rumoured to be up for the part a while back, so if big lips here doesn’t do it, Weisz might.
