Madonna’s Bro Sets Date with GMA
Madonna sure likes attention, but even she can’t be too thrilled with how this week has started.
First was the A-Rod debaclenow there’s more from her estranged brother, Christopher Ciccone…
Just this morning, the publisher of Ciccone’s upcoming memoir, Life With My Sister Madonna, jumped on the Madge bandwagon by releasing the cover of the top-secret tome.
A rep for Simon Spotlight Entertainment says Ciccone’s first on-camera interview will be with Deborah Roberts for Good Morning America. Their taped interview will air July 14, followed by a live, in-studio one-on-one the next day, when the book officially goes on sale.
I can also report that Ciccone has been booked for an in-studio interview with E!’s own Chelsea Handler. A rep for Chelsea Lately confirms the sit-down is scheduled for July 23.
Until then, Ciccone is keeping quiet. Except for a July 1 update he posted on his Facebook profile, which reads, “Christopher is dancing on thin ice and loving it…”
Bon Jovi Play Ball (and Music)
For those who want Bon Jovi dead or alive, a third option has suddenly come into play: free.
Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and those other three guys that make up the wallpaper band are following in the footsteps of Chris Martin’s crew, announcing plans to treat fans to a free concert in New York’s Central Park on July 12.
The gig, held in conjunction with Major League Baseball, will be part of the pomp and circumstance surrounding the July 15 All-Star game at Yankee Stadium.
As it is, the Jersey boys are narrowly missing out on a double-header of their own, as they wrap up their current 10-date U.S. tour at Madison Square Garden, with their final two shows set for July 14 and 15.
Geek Deal: Watch Disney/Pixar Movies Online For Free!

Did you know that you can now watch Finding Nemo online? Yes, the entire film! And I’m not talking about Bit Torrent, I’m talking about free and completely legal! Taking a cue from ABC.com, Disney has decided to begin streaming movies that air during the Saturday Night Wonderful World of Disney presentations. You will be able to stream the movies anytime in the week following the network presentation on Disney.com. I’m not sure what the exact quality of the stream is, but I’d guess that it was close to DVD quality. Upcoming films include Monsters Inc. (June 16-20), Haunted Mansion (June 30-July 4), Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (July 7-11), Princess Diaries 2 (July 14-18), Freaky Friday (July 21-25), and Peter Pan (August 4-8).
Coldplay Tour Temporarily on Ice
Coldplay isn’t free to Viva la Vida just yet.
Unspecified “production delays” have forced the British rockers to postpone their upcoming North American tour by two weeks, meaning their first show will be July 14 in Los Angeles instead of June 29 in Philadelphia, according to Billboard.
The final date of the Viva la Vida tour will still be Aug. 4, but the show take place in Boston instead of Chicago. An updated itinerary is available on the band’s website.
Meanwhile, disappointed fans can either opt for a refund or hang on to their tickets, which will be good for any rescheduled shows.
According to Coldplay’s manager, the shakeup will not affect a series of free concerts the group is planning to play in London, Barcelona and New York this month.
The band’s fourth studio album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, drops June 17.
