Kate Moss: A Pap’s Hair-Raising Auction

Kate Moss

A photographer with blind blonde bald ambition is reportedly auctioning off the now famous hair extension that fell off of Kate Moss in front of photographers in Berlin recently.

It’s not bad enough that Kate had to leave something so personal behind hernow the hairpiece is going to be owned by some fetishistic fan who bought it on eBay?

Or maybe the person who claims it will turn out to be Kate’s true love. Like Prince Charming retrieving Cinderella’s lost slipper. Only much more gross.

Kate Moss Promotes Velvet Hour

Kate Moss Promotes Velvet Hour

Her career is the definition of longevity in the modeling industry.  And Kate Moss was spotted in Berlin, Germany to promote her new fragrance.

Miss Moss arrived at Hotel de Rome at Bebelplatz Square earlier today looking smashing in a flirty grey tweed dress and a pair of chunky black heels.  She’s in town to launch “Velvet Hour,” her new perfume.

Meanwhile, back in Mother England, Kate’s best friend Rhys Ifans is crashing at her pad whie trying to ward off the sting of being dumped by his ex-fiancé Sienna Miller.  And Moss isn’t too keen on how it all went down.

According to press, Kate warned Sienna not to break Rhys’ heart at the inception of their relationship, yet Miller dealt a crushing blow by dumping Ifans over the phone.

An insider told press, “Rhys is probably Kate’s best male friend. In fact, she’s as close to him as a sister and she’s very protective of him because she knows his vulnerabilities.  Kate’s not someone you’d want on the opposing team. She’s a formidable woman and very loyal when it comes to her friends. Kate has taken Rhys in and told him he can stay at her place for as long as he wants. He’s in a bad way and she’s really angry at Sienna, even though she knew she’d never stay with Rhys.”

It’s a fashionable time of year, wherever you live.  With the Italian and French Fashion Weeks having taken place last month, and Los Angeles’ Fashion Week currently wrapping up, the Brits are proving that they’re no slouches.

The Royal Alber Hall in London played host to the event last night.  And the Swarovski Fashion Rocks charity event wasn’t lacking in star power.

Kate Moss showed up in an amazing 1920s-era dress complete with 60,000 Swarovski crystals.  It’s worth an estimated £40,000 (US $80,000) and will reportedly be auctioned off on Ebay.

Moss told press, “When I was invited by Swarovski to create a dress with Topshop to wear tonight, this 1920s flapper-style immediately came to mind. It was like a dream to use such an amazing amount of Swarovski crystal.  I’m honored to have the opportunity to raise funds for the Prince’s Trust, as it’s a great cause. Plus, I get to wear my own amazing couture dress, even if it’s just for the night.”

Other celebs in attendance were Gwyneth Paltrow, Uma Thuman, and Joss Stone.
