With the unusual taste of being turned down still fresh on her mind, Paris Hilton was spotted out on Monday spending a few hours getting prettied up at the Kate Somerville salon in Los Angeles.
According to press reports, “At Sunday’s Sony BMG post-Grammy party, Hilton, 26, aggressively tried to hook up with John Mayer, 30, following him around and dancing, trying to get him to look at her.”
A source told the NY Post: “At one point, she sat at a table and tapped on the seat to motion him to sit next to her. John politely sat for less than a second before ignoring her and moving to chat with a group of friends.”
Besides being given the cold shoulder by the Bigger Than My Body singer, Paris’ new comedy, The Hottie and the Nottie, had a terrible showing at the box office - “opening to $9,000 on 111 screens, or $81 per screen,” Box Office Mojo reports.

The Private Practice star got herself all dressed up and headed over to the Santa Monica Red Cross 2008 Red Tie Affair, looking gorgeous in a long velvet evening gown.
In preparation for her evening out, Walsh was spotted out the day before getting pampered at Kate Somerville Skin Health Experts on Melrose Place and then the Juan Juan Salon in Beverly Hills.

She’s no stranger to pampering herself, and yesterday Paris Hilton was spotted enjoying the finer things in life.
The “Hottie and the Nottie” babe, accompanied by one of her cute little dogs, arrived at Kate Somerville MediSpa on Melrose Place for some beautification.
When she’d had her fill, Paris left carrying a bag of goodies from the spa and was picked up by her doting boyfriend Benji Madden, who whisked her off to his DCMA Collective store on Melrose where they met up with some of his pals.
And in the realm of making their duo a trio, Hilton told press that she has babies on the brain, and as soon as 2009, she hopes to be a mommy. “I do want a baby. Pretty soon. Not yet because I’m so busy, but next year.”
