Nicole Names Baby Sunday Rose Urban Kidman
As an update to the ’ story on Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s new baby girl, the couple has announced their daughter’s name - Sunday Rose Urban Kidman.
And according to Urban’s rep, things are so far so good for the Urban trio. “Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side and mother and baby are very well. They are delighted.”
This morning Keith wrote on his website, “Earlier this morning, Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today.”
In a recent interview, the “Others” actress said that her pregnancy was a special surprise. “I didn’t think I’d get to experience that in my lifetime. I like the unpredictable nature of it. To feel life growing with you is something very, very special, and I’m going to embrace that completely.”
And up to the day before she gave birth, Kidman stayed active, pictured below on her way to a yoga class on Sunday afternoon.

Nicole Kidman can’t believe she’s pregnant.
“When I first saw the baby on the ultrasound, I started crying,” she says in the new issue of Vogue. “I didn’t think I’d get to experience that in my lifetime…To feel life growing with you is something very, very special, and I’m going to embrace that completely. I don’t believe in flittering around the edges of things. You’re either going to walk through life and experience it fully or you’re going to be a voyeur. And I’m not a voyeur.”
And that means experiencing the good and the bad.
If you remember, Nic’s husband, Keith Urban, checked himself into rehab shortly after they were married. Now, Vogue writer John Powers reports, she and Urban are never apart for more than five days at a time. “I’m so committed to this relationship, and so is he,” Kidman says. “I don’t have addiction problems, but love is a very powerful force in my life. It’s my fatal flaw and my virtue.”
Also powerful in her life? Work.
You can’t accuse Ms. Kidman of not going all the way for a role.
In the upcoming Baz Luhrmann epic, Australia, they shot in some pretty far-flung locales Down Under.
“It’s the roughest thing I ever had to go through,” Kidman says. “The heat is debilitating. I was sitting on a horse once and I remember thinking, Gosh, this is what it feels like before you faintand then I fainted.”

As the impending birth of their first child nears, Nicole Kidman and hubby Keith Urban have been spotted all over Nashville, Tennessee the past few days.
The cute couple shared an affectionate moment after Kidman’s pregnancy check-up at their local Nashville hospital on Thursday morning (June 5).
According to an eyewitness, “The expectant mother arrived with a blonde assistant and spent an hour inside the facility before Urban arrived to join her. The two had a romantic embrace when they were reunited and Urban even held his wife’s handbag as he kissed her and placed his hand on the small of her back. After chatting for a bit, Keith, who had arrived with three body guards in tow, climbed back into his towncar to speed off to the CMA Festival that he was set to perform at for the night.”
The following day, Nicole’s baby bump was on full display as she and her country crooner hubby went out for an early coffee run in Nashville.
Our insider tells of the scene: “Wearing a sporty black workout ensemble and without makeup, Kidman walked hand-in-hand with Urban, who was the ultimate gentleman. Keith opened the car door for her and helped her into the passenger seat. After her early morning yoga class, Kidman then took to the spa where she got pampered for four hours. After the spa treat, Nic got all dressed up before getting picked up by her hubby, looking refreshed and relaxed.”
And yesterday, the “Cold Mountain” cutie was at it again - grabbing an early morning java pick-me-up before taking to a local shopping center with Urban’s parents and her assistant. After a few hours of shopping, Kidman emerged with a large bag of toys and stuffed animals - no doubt stocking up for her impending arrival!

Nicole Kidman is used to having her picture taken - and spent part of her Friday at the Waldorf Astoria doing just that.
At 40-years-old, the Australian actress has been claimed to have numerous procedures to keep her youthful appearance, but Nicole says that the rumors are just not true.
“To be honest, I am completely natural,” Kidman recently told Marie Claire magazine, adding, “I have nothing in my face or anything. I wear sunscreen, and I don’t smoke. I take care of myself. And I’m very proud to say that.”
And while Kidman has not had anything done herself, she says she does not judge people who have had plastic surgery. “Anybody can do anything to themselves, their bodies,” she tells.
