O’Donnell’s Marriage Still Rosie
Rosie O’Donnell’s marriage is not on the rocks, thankyouverymuch.
Never one to back away from a public war of words, O’Donnell has lashed out at a rumor started by veteran Page Six gossip maven Cindy Adams alleging O’Donnell’s marriage to Kelli Carpenter had hit the skids.
“I called Rosie this morning, and she said she thinks Cindy Adams is a lesbian but doesn’t know it yet,” O’Donnell’s rep, Cindi Berger, told News. “Rosie said she’s leaving Kelly for Cindy.”
If nothing else, that ought to sell some papers.
Adams’ item was published in the print and online editions of the New York Post earlier this morning.
“We’re hearing that the togetherness of Rosie O’Donnell and Kelli Carpenter, the handsome blond gal Rosie calls her wife, may not be so together anymore,” Adams wrote. “Whatever other difficulties such a breakup might cause, there is also a houseful of adopted kids they’re raising.”
O’Donnell wasted no time in rebutting the claims, first firing off a missive to Perez Hilton.
“cindy adams and i r having a full blown affair. she is a lesbian,” the spelling- and grammar-eschewing TV vet wrote.
O’Donnell and Carpenter tied the knot in San Francisco on Feb. 26, 2004, and have four children together. The wedding was later declared invalid by the California Supreme Court.
However, the law has once again changed, much to Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi and George Takei’s delight. And O’Donnell spoke out about the change earlier this month, claiming she and Carpenter would not be rushing down the aisle a second time.
“We’re going to wait until it’s legal everywhere,” she said. “Once it gets to be at the federal level, once every state recognizes the marriages of every other state, I think that’ll be the time we would do it.”
No word on whether Cindy shares the same opinion.
Exclusive: Find Out Who Will Play Angela's Other Man on Bones

He’s heeere…Inside sources tell me that the producers of Fox’s Bones have cast an actor to play Angela’s long-lost husband. Click in to find out which guy got the extremely great gig of canoodling with Michaela Conlin on a regular basis.
I’m told that Sean Blakemore (you can IMDb him here) will be playing Grayson Birimbau, the superperfect über-mensch (kind and brilliant, and hot and rich to boot) who met Angela one hot night in Fiji and persuaded her to become his wife (even if just for that one hot night).
Way back in April, Bones creator Hart Hanson told WWK, “We’re gonna find the best guy in the world for Angela. Whoever we finally cast, Jack has to be completely and utterly cowed when this guy finally walks in.”
And at the Asian Excellence Awards the lovely Ms. Michaela herself told E! that the producers were looking at Djimon Hounsou as the prototypical Birimbau. (I guess Kimora Lee was keepin’ him busy living life in her Fab Lane on E!)
What do you think? Did they hit close to the Djimon Hounsou mark? And more importantly, what will the introduction of Birimbau mean for Angela’s love affair with Dr. Jack Hodgins (T.J. Thyne)? Are they ever going to be able to disentangle this mess and tie the knot themselves?
Beyonce Knowles: Shopping in LA
Beyonce Knowles: Shopping in LA
With her rap star mogul husband overseas, Beyonce Knowles was spotted taking advantage of her free time with a shopping spree in Los Angeles on Thursday (June 19).
The “Crazy In Love” singer, tied the knot with Jay-Z back in April, spent time browsing the shops’ selections before being led out to her car by a bodyguard using a shopping bag to cover the R&B hitmaker’s face from lined-up paparazzi.
In related news, it appears that Beyonce and Jay-Z’s fellow celebrity pals are tired of waiting for the two to consummate their marriage with a baby.
Rapper Snoop Dogg, who has 3 kids, tells that starting a family should be the goal for any wedded couple.
“I told them to go home and make babies,” he says. “They should, that’s the next step as far as marriage, having kids … add on to the family, so hopefully that’s what they’ll do.”
Tila Tequila: I Helped Gay Marriage
Tila Tequila: I Helped Gay Marriage
She’s been blasting stereotypes and societal norms ever since her MTV reality show A Shot at Love first hit the airwaves. And now Tila Tequila is taking credit for the State of California’s decision to drop the ban on gay marriage.
At the Hollywood premiere of “The Love Guru” last night at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, Tila told press, “Before it came out, everyone was still a little apprehensive about [same sex relationships]. Then they realized, ‘Wow, everyone is really into this stuff, and it is fine.’ The next thing you know, [gay marriage] is legal.”
As for her own love life, Miss Tequila says she’s hoping to tie the knot someday. “I definitely want to… definitely,” she said. The only question is, will her spouse be a man or a woman?
“Sometimes you feel like you get a little too much of one side, and you feel like the other side is better,” she commented.
