Veronica Mars meets Weevil — on Heroes?
We Veronica Mars fans take whatever bones the TV world will throw at us. We mourn the loss of the well-written female super-sleuth series, and we’ve been kicked while we are down with the cancellation of Moonlight, where we at least got to see Jason Dohring every week. Could there be a little love coming for the VM fans?
If you watch Heroes, you could be in for a real treat this fall, when Francis Capra, of Weevil fame, joins the cast alongside former Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell.
We don’t know much about Capra’s role except that his name is Jesse and he will be evil. Weevil playing evil — a rhyme I just had to make and a role I’m looking forward to seeing. Even though I don’t watch Heroes, I’ll tune in to see what Capra’s got for us.
So, VM fans, enjoy the reunion of Veronica and Weevil this fall, and try not to let that bothersome Heroes story line get in the way of the VM nostalgia.
Heroes Adds Francis Capra as a New Villain
Yep, it’s true. Sources confirm that Francis Capra has been cast on Heroes. I’ve also exclusively learned that Veronica and Weevil—I mean, Elle and Jesse, do share at least one scene. Francis Capra and Kristen Bell together again? Hallelujah!
My sources tell me Francis is doing a three-episode guest arc as villain Jesse Murphy, a thug who runs with a gang of two-bit criminals. However, Jesse is more than just a meathead. He does have a power. When and where will it be deployed? You’ll have to watch to see.

FYI, I’m hearing good things about the larger picture on Heroes this season: In particular, the Bennets and Petrellis are staying front and center, and they are totally up in each other’s bidness—just the way we like them.
Someone somewhere is definitely paying attention to the fans, and the resulting twists are so good it’s killing me not to talk about them.

Gossip Girl narrator and recent addition to the cast of Heroes Kristen Bell spent last evening at the opening of Elie Tahari Boutique, chumming it up with Desperate Housewives actress Marcia Cross.
Kristen recently spoke to People magazine, telling that she has split up with her boyfriend Kevin Mann, and that she’s scared of dating.
In the interview, Bell said, “Dating is scary. When you are single, you have got to be accountable. You wake up in the morning and go to bed at night thinking about who you really are. It’s good. But dating is scary.”
Despite her fears, the former Veronica Mars star feels lucky to have the new group of castmates from Heroes to help her through the idle times.
Of her new co-stars, Kristen said, “We went bowling two weekends ago. Jack Coleman organized a big bowling extravaganza. They are just a really nice group of normal people, and I love them. I couldn’t have imagined a warmer welcome.”

With Hollywood romance as fleeting as it is, sometime you gotta go right to the source to confirm rumors. And Kristen Bell was more than happy to report on the status of her co-stars supposed hookup.
The new Heroes starlet was in attendance for the Alliance for Children’s Rights benefit in Beverly Hills earlier this week. She definitively denied that her co-stars Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia were anything more than friends.
Bell told press, “They’re just great friends. They’re not dating.” And it sounds like singlehood is running rampant on the set of the NBC drama… Bell is without a beau as well.
She commented, “I’m taking single life moment by moment. It’s uncomfortable for me because I haven’t been single in a long time. I’m a homebody. I’m a Blockbuster girl at heart.”
Something tells us that with a look as hot as her career, Kristen won’t be single for long.
