Gossip Guy Turns 21 Minus His Costar
A little gossip doesn’t bother Ed Westwick.
“I just laugh it off,” he tells People about the rumors that he and his Gossip Girl costar (and roommate) Chace Crawford are more than just friends.
“People who know me and Chace and the cast know that we are all great friends,” Ed tells the mag. “And that’s the extent of it all. Those things that go around are just amusing to us, really.”
But how does Chace feel?
Who knows? He was expected to attend his friend’s celebration but canceled at the last minute.
Still, Ed had plenty of company for his 21st birthday weekend even without his costar. Thirty friends and family members joined him for dinner at Tao. After the meal, he headed to a VIP table at the nightclub upstairs, where he had his first legal drink.
His beverage of choice? Champagne.
Chuck Bass would be proud.

As previously reported by , Britney and family arrived in their hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana yesterday afternoon - meeting up with mother Lynne and Jamie Lynn - as the Spears gang prepares for the baby’s arrival.
“They have had nine months to deal with this,” a Spears family friend told press. “Last night was very low-key. There was no last-minute panicking. No one was worried.”

“She is gorgeous,” says Uncle Josh. “She looks just like my sister.”
While many celeb moms opt for a C-section, Alba’s natural childbirth put a crimp in her family’s plans.
“My dad [Mark Alba] was on a business trip in Florida, and Jessica just flew him in last minute,” Josh Alba says. “He is so upset he has to fly back today.”
But the relatives aren’t holding any grudges.
“We are all just ecstatic,” says Josh Alba. “She definitely looks like an Alba to me.”

If you were hoping to see Kylie Minogue gracing a stage near you in the near future, you may want to stop reading now. According to the British press, she won’t be embarking on her world tour anytime soon.
The “Locamotion” singer says that she may have been a bit too eager to get out on the road. After all, she had to cancel her 2005 tour at the last minute due to her breast cancer diagnosis, and hasn’t been able to get back on the road yet.
She told press, “The tour is not going to happen, it is far too soon. I can’t do it next year. It kind of breaks my heart because that is what I’m in this business for. Not being able to go ahead with my plans is a real downer.”
But rather than going against her doctor’s explicit instructions that a grueling tour schedule would have adverse effects on her health, Kylie is showing maturity in her decision to hold off. “Every woman has to face up to new priorities, near the top is health. I take my health very seriously but not obsessively. Everything is about pacing yourself.”
