Amy Winehouse Apologizes For Racist Video
In typical fashion, Amy Winehouse popped out of her London pad on Saturday night to chat it up with anyone and everyone who decided to drop by.
The Rehab singer first opened her door to speak with journalists following further damaging allegations in the Sunday papers.
According to British tabloid reports, Winehouse is said to have appeared in a video, shot in 2007 by her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil, singing a racist song.
Sucking on a lollipop as she spoke, Amy told the assembled media that she was “very sorry if any of her words had been misunderstood or caused offense.”
Later on the same night, the troubled crooner once again was in her open doorway - greeting a friend dressed as Jimi Hendrix who wandered up to her front door.
Making one final appearance, Amy was seen peering out of her window as fans serenaded her from the street in the early hours of the morning.

Dressed in a red top and some tiny faded jean shorts, Amy Winehouse moved some of her belongings a short distance down the road to her new London pad - which is reportedly about 25 yards away from her old spot.
Meanwhile, a judge agreed to postpone the Rehab singer’s upcoming court hearing, which was supposed to take place on February 29th in Norway, because Amy’s incarcerated husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, must also attend the hearing.
“The [Norway] court says that all parties must appear in person before the court, and the British police haven’t made arrangements for one party to appear,” a spokesperson told press.
“This side wanted to complete this case, but when the circumstances became as they did, it was regrettably necessary to postpone,” he explained.
Winehouse and Fielder-Civil are still planning on going through with their appeal of the charges of possessing ¼ ounce of marijuana, but no new court date has been scheduled at this time.

Battling skin problems, Amy Winehouse was spotted leaving her London pad to pay a visit to her incarcerated hubby, Blake Fielder-Civil, on Monday (March 3).
Of the noticeable complexion woes, the Rehab singer was recently diagnosed with impetigo, her spokesman informed people magazine.
“It’s a bacterial skin infection that causes pimple-like lumps and is is highly contagious, and scratching or touching the sores is likely to spread the infection to other parts of the body as well as to other people,” according to press reports.
Since meeting with a doctor, Amy has been prescribed a topical cream. “She’s fine,” a pal said, adding, “She’s not hiding away. She’s never been one to care what people think.”

Amy Winehouse popped out of her London pad on Thursday to pay a visit to her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder Civil.
For the Pentonville prison outing, Amy wore a black tanktop and a pair of skin-tight blue jeans – reportedly in a talkative/good mood despite the fact that her hubby’s been locked up for months.
In related news, the Rehab crooner has reportedly been offered $1million to perform live at the forthcoming celebrity party at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art Costume Institute in New York on May 5.
According to the Daily Mirror, Giorgio Armani, who is hosting the bash, asked George Clooney and Julia Roberts to help sign up Winehouse, who is said to be “seriously considering” the offer.
“Giorgio has made no secret to his friends that he would love to work with Amy,” an anonymous source is quoted as saying. “He sees this party as an ideal opportunity to sound her out about future projects.”
