Getting a much-needed shopping fix, Rachel Bilson was spotted in the Meatpacking district of New York City on Tuesday morning (June 17).
Accompanied by a guy pal, the former OC babe combed the racks at shops including Alexander McQueen, Butik and Jeffery before taking a break for a bite to eat.
In related news, Rachel’s box office hit “Jumper” just came out on DVD a week ago - and she’s been busily interviewing as part of her press duties.
Recently chatting with the AP, Rachel revealed that she felt a little uncomfortable filming love scenes with co-star-turned-boyfriend Hayden Christensen in the sci-fi thriller.
“It’s always awkward and hard to film love scenes, it’s so unnatural, and it’s mechanical,” she said. “Actually Doug [Liman, director] made it very free and we went with it - and a shot of alcohol always helps ease the nerves.”
Despite the uneasiness, Rachel added that she had a wonderful time making the film with Hayden, Jamie Bell and Samuel L Jackson.
“It was so fantastic, the whole experience,” she said. “We all became close friends, but I also respect all of them as actors so I got to learn things from them. I was very fortunate.”

Back from a recent promotional trip in Rome, former OC actress Rachel Bilson was out for the morning show rounds on Monday (February 11).
The brunette beauty, who’s currently promoting her new movie Jumper, strutted in her stylish white coat - signing a few autographs on the way into a taping for Live with Regis & Kelly.
Of her new movie, Bilson recently revealed that her handsome co-star/boyfriend “knew exactly what he was doing when they locked lips in love scenes for the new sci-fi thriller.”
The 26-year-old said: “I’m sure all the ladies will be happy to know Hayden (Christensen) is a 10 when it comes to kissing.”
Hayden returned the compliment, saying: “Rachel is top notch too, we kiss well.”

One of the simultaneously coolest/weirdest things about being an actor has got to be love scenes. And Christina Applegate was spotted in an awkward embrace on the set of her hit TV show.
The “Married…With Children” babe was caught in a lip lock with co-star Barry Watson while filming a scene for “Samantha Who?” yesterday.
On the show, Christina plays a formerly cranky/controlling executive who has a car accident and, via amnesia, forgets her attitude and becomes a loving, amicable woman.
In the scene filmed yesterday, Applegate’s character kisses Watson’s character (prior to the accident, he was her live-in boyfriend) and immediately appears to regret it. Sounds like an episode we won’t wanna miss!

Now that Lindsay Lohan’s out and Sienna Miller’s in, British actress Keira Knightley finally knows who she’ll be sharing a love scene with in ’The Best Time of Our Lives.’
The change-up in partner’s seems of little concern to Knightley, nor does the nudity. In a recent interview, Knightley noted that she enjoys stripping her top off for love scenes because she finds them “liberating”.
Keira was required to do the whole topless thing for her part in ‘Domino,’ but her first nude scene actually occurred in the horror film ‘The Hole’ - when she was only 16 years-old.
Now a 6 year veteran to the game, Keira stated, “Sex scenes are easy. I don’t really have a problem with them.”
Speaking specifically of her experience filming ‘Domino,’ the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star added, “Actually it was quite liberating in the movie Domino to be out in the middle of the desert completely topless with a beautiful Venezuelan guy (co-star Edgar Ramirez). I was very lucky.”
But while the 22-year-old has no problem going topless, so far she has refused to bare the bottom half.
Keira points out, “I did have a body double for my bum, but not on my top. I don’t have a problem with that.”
