She has the cutest kids and the hottest leading man, and now Angelina Jolie is up for a prestigious Spirit Award. Is there anything she can’t do?
It’s not like anyone’s surprised about her acting chops, though. Back in 2000, Ang won an Oscar and Golden Globe award for her role in “Girl Interrupted.”
Dawn Hudson of Film Independent (the giver of the Awards) sung Jolie’s praises at the premiere. “She could make any film she wants. It’s a feat for such a movie star to be so much in that role.”

Acting as a worthy preamble to tomorrow night’s Academy Awards, the 2008 Film Independent’s Spirit Awards got underway at Santa Monica Beach on Saturday (February 23).
As previously reported by , Angelina Jolie stole the spotlight - with her baby bump on full display. But there was plenty more star power to hit the red carpet worth mentioning.
Cate Blanchett joined Jolie in the baby-on-the-way club, showing off her full figure as she offered up a smile for the cameras. Shortly thereafter, Eva Mendes hit the red carpet, fresh out of a rehab stint at the Cirque Lodge treatment facility.
Also making appearances were stars like Sienna Miller and Ellen Page - both hoping to take home a little hardware, as well as Lisa Kudrow, Marisa Tomei and many more.

CBS rounds up the stars for The Tonys
CBS is rounding up some A-listers to appear at The Tony Awards this year. Alec Baldwin (30 Rock), Kristin Chenoweth (Pushing Daisies), Glenn Close (Damages), Richard Griffiths, Laura Linney (John Adams), John Lithgow, Liza Minnelli, Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds), Daniel Radcliffe, Brooke Shields (Lipstick Jungle) and Marisa Tomei will be presenters at this year’s award show. As previously announced, Whoopi Goldberg of The View, a Tony-winner herself, will be this year’s host.
Also, the Tony Award-winning productions The Lion King and Rent will make rare encore performances at this year’s gala.
The 62nd Annual Tony Awards will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 15th from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. ET (delayed PT) on CBS. Here’s my issue with the Tonys. It’s a Girl for Entourage Star Debi Mazar
Entourage star Debi Mazar gave birth to a girl on Friday, PEOPLE has confirmed.
Giulia Isabel Mazar-Corcos weighed in a 8 lbs. 1 oz., and was 19 inches long.
“Everybody is at home now and doing great,” Mazar’s publicist, Rene Riddinger, tells PEOPLE.
The 41-year-old actress and her husband, Italian jazz musician and producer Gabriele Corcos, already have a 3-year-old daughter, Evelina.
“Gabriele, Evelina and I are ecstatic to have finally welcomed Giulia to our family. I can’t wait until she’s old enough to start traveling – I want to show my daughters the world,” Mazar tells PEOPLE.
Last month, Mazar’s pals Marisa Tomei and Rosie Perez threw a baby shower for the expectant mom at the Tea Garden & Herbal Emporium in Los Angeles. “It was very sweet,” Mazar told PEOPLE at the time.
Mazar, who plays Shauna on HBO’s Entourage, wed Corcos in 2002.
