Hugh Grant and Liz Hurley In NYC
Hugh Grant and Liz Hurley In NYC
Note to Hugh Grant… if you’re just hanging out with an old girlfriend who happens to be married to a millionaire tycoon, don’t make it look like you’re sneaking around.
Elizabeth Hurley (a former flame of the About A Boy actor) was seen in the same airport as Grant, as they had just exited the same plane. But they tried to make it look as though they were in town separately… Right.
The Austin Powers babe is married to Arun Nayar, though he was nowhere to be seen. Instead, Liz walked quickly to her own car and left without even acknowledging Hugh’s presence.
The “Mickey Blue Eyes” actor’s cover was blown when his limousine driver moronically posted “Grant, Hugh” on his passenger-side window as he waited. There’s no word as to where Grant or Hurley were headed.
And speaking of “Mickey Blue Eyes,” Hugh made news recently when he put an Andy Warhol piece up for auction. He paid $4 million for it a few years ago, and now experts are expecting he’ll get at least $34 million… a true example of life imitating the movies.
Britney Spears: Another New Man?
Britney Spears: Another New Man?
Has Britney Spears already moved on from her paparazzo lover Adnan Ghalib? From the looks of things, it certainly seems that the recently inseparable couple has suffered a setback - as Britney spent all night Saturday with her manager and his pal, with Adnan nowhere to be seen.
To start things off, the Gimme More singer and manager Sam Lufti paid a visit to one of Britney’s favorite eateries, Jerry’s Deli in Studio City.
From there, Spears was driven around Hollywood by Sam before picking up new groupie, Chard Hardcastle, in West Hollywood.
According to an insider, “The mystery surrounding new Britney entourage member Chad Hardcastle continues. A multi-millionaire pastors son from Florida, he is rumored to be the man Britney’s companion/manager Sam Lutfi wants her to date.”
And with the big smile on Britney’s face throughout the night as Chad took pictures of the paparazzi, it looks as if this is one romance that may just work.
Sophie Monk: Life After Benji Madden
Sophie Monk: Life After Benji Madden
Sure, her ex-fiancé has been gallivanting all around town with his new high-profile girlfriend Paris Hilton. But don’t count Sophie Monk out just yet.
The Australian babe was spotted out and about with a pal at the Melrose Trading Post swap meet at Fairfax High School yesterday. And she had no trouble attracting the attention of male passersby.
But the real news is that Miss Monk may have moved on fairly quickly as well, since her disengagement from Madden. Insiders are reporting that she’s found love with a multi-millionaire video game designer.
Sophie was spotted having a romantic breakfast at the Griddle café on the Sunset Strip with Jason Rubin, a gaming guru who recently sold one of his companies to Fox Interactive Media for more than $20 million.
Maybe that’s why she’s been smiling so big lately!
John Stamos on board for Lifetime original movie
ER cast member John Stamos is taking on the role of murdered millionaire Andrew Kissel in Killing Mr. Kissel, a Lifetime movie. The actor will also produce the movie, which, like all good Lifetime originals, is based on a true story. Killing Mr. Kissel focuses on two wealthy brothers, played by Stamos and Anson Mount (as Rob Kissel), who are killed within a few years of one another.
Prison Break’s Robin Tunney is playing Rob Kissel’s wife, Nancy. The real Nancy Kissel was convicted of her husband’s murder in Hong Kong. Two men were charged with Andrew Kissel’s murder in April. The family’s story is certainly tragic enough to be a movie; Lifetime describes it as “the American dream that spiraled out of control.”
The announcement doesn’t specify how closely the TV movie will resemble actual events. John Stamos is portraying a man who, in reality, was set to plead guilty to fraud charges around the time of his murder. The murder case concerning Tunney and Mount’s characters was a major story in Hong Kong. The media dubbed it the “Milkshake Murder.”
48 Hours has an extensive article on its website about the Kissel brothers’ personal lives and the details surrounding their deaths. The story requires no embellishment, so I’m curious to see how the Lifetime movie turns out. Killing Mr. Kissel premieres in November.
