Gossip Girl Taylor-Made for Modeling Deal
She may not be the subject of a spinoff, but Taylor Momsen is definitely on her way to getting more camera time.
At just 14 years old, the Gossip Girl star has signed a deal to be repped by leading poseur agency IMG Models.
While Momsen has yet to endorse or front any products or brand, it’s likely only a matter of time. IMG already has a healthy roster of star talent and is likely hoping to do for Momsen what it did for another teen TV star-turned-prolific spokesceleb (turned pot-possessing arrestee, but we’ll forget about that part for now), Mischa Barton.
Momsen now joins fellow IMG talent Drew Barrymore, Heidi Klum, Liv Tyler, Selma Blair and Hilary Duff.

Just like the rest of us, celebrities enjoy a good scare. And Mischa Barton was in the house for the New York City premiere of The Happening last night.
It all went down at the historic Ziegfeld Theater in Manhattan, as M. Night Shyamalan’s new suspense flick (opens this Friday June 13th) wowed moviegoers. And the OC babe looked snazzy in a silver strapless multi-tiered ruffled dress with a pair of black 1-strap heels.
When she’s not attending swanky entertainment industry events, or shopping all over Beverly Hills, Barton is hard at work on her movie career.
This year alone, she has three films coming out- “Walled In,” “Homecoming,” and “Don’t Fade Away,” with an additional movie “Malice in Wonderland” slated for a 2009 release.

Proving that the dentist’s office isn’t the scariest place on earth, Mischa Barton was spotted leaving her teeth-cleaning appointment yesterday with a smile on her face.
The “Assassination of a High School President” actress stepped out of the NYC office building sporting a scoopneck white top, flirty skirt with opaque tights and a pair of knee-high fringed-out moccasin boots.
And if you’re jonesing for a dose of Mischa’s acting prowess, you can check her out later this year in Walled In, based on Serge Broselot’s French novel “Les Emmeures.”
Walled in is about a young engineering school graduate who travels to a remote location to work on demolishing an old building. But when she discovers the horrifying history of the building (murders/torture, etc) excitement ensues.

It’s always great to see celebrities giving back to the community, and at yesterday’s A Time For Heroes Celebrity Carnival, Mischa Barton showed off her love for literacy.
The former “OC” babe sported a Giambattista Vall dress and Christian Louboutin heels as she made her way through the charity event to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
And when she got her wings (a pair of butterfly wings) and some face/body paint, she headed over to a reading center and read “Olive My Love” to a bunch of eager youngsters.
Unfortunately the day was marred a bit when Mischa failed to watch her step and landed one of her fabulous Louboutin heels in a pile of dog poop. Not to worry, she played it off like a pro and carried on.
