Fans Will Appear In The Hobbit!

Guillermo del Toro had a Q&A session with MTV and revealed some rather good news for Hobbit fans.

“Who do I have to kill or sleep with to get a role as an extra?” user Mike Moore asked.

“Oh my god, well that’s a good question only in that it’s asked often,” del Toro said, chuckling. “[But] I believe as the film comes to happen, in either of the two films, [fans] have a good chance of being there.”

“Sleep with a lot of people if you can! That’s a very good piece of advice. But don’t bribe anyone. It will be wasted money,” del Toro said, laughing. “We will set some rules and some contests and some fans will definitely get the chance of being extras. Go and apply for those roles!”

Contests will be the better option for Hobbit fans as there is more chance of Gimli getting a back, crack and sac wax than a Hobbit fan sleeping with anyone.

Hawkeye and Trapper, together again

Wayne RogersA lot of M*A*S*H fans were upset when Wayne Rogers left his role of Trapper John on the CBS show. Many thought he wouldn’t have the success he had on the show and others just missed the character (he was replaced by Mike Farrell’s B.J. Hunnicutt). He went on to many guest roles and a short-lived, 1976 private eye series I liked, City of Angels. But he actually made most of his money over the past 30 years from smart financial investments. So much so that he’s now a commentator on the FOX Business Network. His recent guest was his former co-star Alan Alda.

The two talk about several things in the first video, including Alda’s new movie (Diminished Capacity), memory loss, Alda’s award nominations, and their days on M*A*S*H. In the second video, Alda sticks around for a discussion with an expert on shows that are actually good for you, and two of those shows are shows that Alda starred in (M*A*S*H and The West Wing).

The Script - The Man Who Can’t Be Moved Lyrics

going back to the corner,
where i first saw you
gonna camp in my sleeping bag,
I’m not gonna move
got some words on cardboard
got your picture in my head
saying: if you see this girl can you tell her were i am
some try to hand me money
they don’t understand
I’m not broke I’m just a broken hearted man
i no it makes no sense
what else can i do
and how can i move on
when I’m still in love with you

cos if one day you wake up
and find that your missing me
and your heart starts to wonder
were on this earth i could be
thinking maybe you’d come back here
to the place that we’d meet
and you’d see me waiting for you
on the corner of the street
so I’m not moving
I’m not moving

police man says son you cant stay here
i say someone I’m waiting for if its a day a month or year
got to stand my ground
even if it rains or snows
if she changes her mind
this is the first place she will go

cos if one day you wake up
and find that your missing me
and your heart starts to wonder
were on this earth i could be
thinking maybe you’d come back here
to the place that we’d meet
and you’d see me waiting for you
on the corner of the street
so I’m not moving
I’m not moving
I’m not moving

people talk about the guy
thats waiting in on a girl
woooaa wooo
and i no who’s in his shoes
put a big hole in his world
ooooo
maybe ill get famous for the man who cant be moved
and maybe you wont mean to but you’ll see me on the news
and you’d come running to the corner
cos you’ll know its just for you
I’m the man who cant be moved
I’m the man who cant be moved

cos if one day you wake up
and find that your missing me
and your heart starts to wonder
were on this earth i could be
thinking maybe you’d come back here
to the place that we’d meet
and you’d see me waiting for you
on the corner of the street
so I’m not moving
I’m not moving
I’m not moving
I’m not moving

going back to the corner were i first saw you
gonna camp in my sleeping bag and I’m not gonna move

Seagal, Lawyers No Longer Under Seige

Steven Seagal

Steven Seagal may be above the law, but he’s not above settling some outstanding legal issues.

The erstwhile action hero has reached a settement with his former law firm, ending dueling lawsuits over the legal tab incurred by Seagal when he was called to testify as a witness before a grand jury a few years ago.

Seagal, 57, sued Loeb & Loeb last July, alleging he was overcharged by at least $450,000 by the lawyers representing him in a federal grand jury probe into claims that his former producing partner, Julius Nasso, tried to exort money from Seagal after the two severed business ties.

Loeb & Loeb countersued, seeking $575,400 in repayments for services it said it rendered in the case.

No word how much cash will be exchanged, but according to a document filed by the firm notifying the court of the resolution, both sides are required to fulfill the terms of the settlement by Dec. 15.

Neither side has responded to calls seeking comment.

Seagal has been clearing up his legal docket of late. Earlier this year, he settled a separate lawsuit with Nasso over their scuttled partnership.
