Fergie Gets Ready For Bluesfest

With white snakeskin handbag in arms, Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson made her way to Los Angeles International Airport for a departing flight on Thursday (July 3).

Followed by paparazzi from her house to the LAX security checkpoint, the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman was reportedly catching a flight to Canada as she prepares to perform at the Ottawa Bluesfest on Tuesday (July 8).

The festival, which kicked off yesterday, is in it’s 15th year and is now Ottawa’s largest music festival with more than 200 acts ready to perform.

Press reports tell that the entertainers are divided among six stages each day - with the Black Crowes, James Taylor, the Tragically Hip and Great Big Sea joining Fergie as the main stage headliners.

Winehouse Late, Again

Amy Winehouse

It’s nice to know some things never change.

British trainwreck Amy Winehouse was an hour late to her first post-rehab concert Friday night. The Grammy-winning soul chanteuse performed a 55-minute set at the sold-out Rock in Rio music festival in Lisbon, Portugal. Lenny Kravitz was the headliner.

Winehouse’s voice cracked throughout her performance and, at one point, she ran offstage. She had visible cuts on her left arm, a bandage on her right hand and apologized to the crowd for her sore throat.

The trouble-prone diva is famous for her tardiness, show cancellations, offstage antics and rehab stints. Just last week, her father accepted a prestigious British award on her behalf because the 24-year-old was late to the ceremony.

In Amy’s defense, they don’t teach punctuality in rehab.

On Saturday night, Prince took to the stage for his much-anticipated headlining performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Prince’s concert, the main attraction of the festival, was announced only two weeks ago. And his presence brought a heavy dose of star power to the ninth annual Southern California music festival.

In attendance for the festivities were the Hilton sisters, Paris and Nicky, along with their boyfriends, Benji Madden and David Katzenberg. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden also made a late appearance following a party in Palm Desert.

Also on hand, roaming around and enjoying what was a beautiful evening were fellow Londoner’s Sienna Miller and Kelly Osbourne.

And not far away, the older generation of stars including Steven Tyler, Melanie Griffith and David Hasselhoff were spotted showing that youth is all a state of mind.
