Kim Kardashian Talks Fourth of July Weekend

Kim Kardashian Talks Fourth of July Weekend

After a rousing couple of days with her boyfriend Reggie Bush and both of their families, Kim Kardashian grabbed a little time for herself on Saturday.

The “Disaster Movie” starlet was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills, California following an appointment at her favorite nail salon.  And she looked beautiful in a casual blue halter-style dress with a pair of strappy sandals.

According to Kim’s Official Blog, she and her New Orleans Saints stud spent the Fourth of July holiday at Reggie’s mom’s house with the whole Kardashian and Bush bunch to boot.

And at one point, she writes, it became a contest to see who could throw whom into the pool.  “Khloe and Reggie started it by throwing my mom in! Then Reggie threw Rob in and broke his cell phone! Then Reggie threw Khloe in! Then Khloe threw me in! She dropped me on the way to the pool but I still couldn’t escape not being thrown in!!!”

Madonna and Family: Life as Usual in NYC

Madonna and Family: Life as Usual in NYC

Stuck under a more-intense-than-usual spotlight ever since divorce and affair rumors started to build, Madonna and family have been doing their best to keep at their usual routine while staying in New York City.

And today was no different, as the whole gang went about their daily business, with Madge spotted leaving her Big Apple apartment to run a few errands wearing an Ed Hardy sweatshirt with a geisha on the back.

Meanwhile, Guy did his own thing by taking a walk with his trainer while, back at he and Madge’s place, Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted running inside with a nanny tending to young David Banda.

Not to be left out, Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon took her personal nanny out to an uptown nail salon before heading back and getting brother Rocco Ritchie for a trip to Chelsea Piers.

As for Madonna and Guy’s relationship status, a statement released to People magazine reads: “My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce. I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez. I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study.”

Hilary Duff Stay’s Cool at the Salon

Hilary Duff Stay’s Cool at the Salon

She’s not the first person you’d think of when it comes to self-pampered celebrities.  But even Hilary Duff enjoys a manicure from time to time.

The “War, Inc.” hottie was spotted looking cute and casual in a pink zip-up hoodie and black sweatpants as she left the Nail Salon yesterday (June 26).

And though it’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything from Duff musically, it seems the acting facet of her career keeps getting hotter.  She recently announced that she joined the cast of the new comedy “Stay Cool.”

Hilary will be joining co-stars Winona Ryder, Sean Astin, Chevy Chase, and John Cryer in the ‘know your age’ comedy.  And with an ensemble cast like this one, it’s sure to be a hit.

Haylie Duff: Nail Mission

Haylie Duff: Nail Mission

Sometimes one nail salon just isn’t enough.  And Haylie Duff was bound and determined to get her nails done just the way she likes them.

The “Napoleon Dynamite” actress was spotted in Ventura, California yesterday visiting two different nail salons in search of the perfect set.  And she looked cute in a black tank top with a big blue scarf, and a pair of designer jeans.

Haylie has been keeping herself extra busy lately, working on both a new reality series (Legally Blonde the Musical: The Search For Elle Woods in which she plays host as well as producer) and a Spike TV horror flick “Backwoods.”

She says the “Elle Woods” gig is one that is close to her heart.  “I was approached to mentor the girls and serve as the host. When I found out what the show was about I realized it hit so close to home. I had done a Broadway show. That’s when I decided I wanted to be an executive producer.”

Of the “Backwoods” film, Duff told press she was attracted to the challenges of playing her character. “I like to find characters that push me and challenge me. This character was a real survivor. She is the kind of person who, when she is pushed, will fight back.”
