Chicane vs Natasha Bedingfield - Bruised Water Lyrics
My skin is like a map, of where my heart has been
And I can’t hide the marks, but it’s not a negative thing
So I let down my guard, drop my defences, down by my clothes
I’m learning to fall, with no safety net, to cushion the blow
I bruise easily, so be gentle when you handle me
There’s a mark you leave, like a love heart, carved on a tree
I bruise easily, can’t scratch the surface without moving me
Underneath I bruise easily, I bruise easily
I’ve found your finger prints on a glass of wine
Do you know you’re leaving them all over this heart of mine too
But if I never take this leap of faith I’ll never know
So I’m learning to fall with no safety net to cushion the blow
I bruise easily, so be gentle when you handle me
There’s a mark you leave, like a love heart carved on a tree
I bruise easily, can’t scratch the surface without moving me
Underneath I bruise easily, I bruise easily
Anyone who, can touch you, can hurt you, or heal you
Anyone who, can reach you, can love you, or leave you
So be gentle
So be gentle
So be gentle
So be gentle
I bruise easily, so be gentle when you handle me
There’s a mark you leave, like a love heart, carved on a tree
I bruise easily, can’t scratch the surface without moving me
Underneath I bruise easily,
I bruise easily, so be gentle when you handle me
There’s a mark you leave, like a love heart, carved on a tree
I bruise easily, can’t scratch the surface without moving me
Underneath I bruise easily, I bruise easily
I bruise easily
I bruise easily
Idol alums to participate in Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular
Katharine McPhee and Jordin Sparks will be performing at this year’s Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. The Idol alums will be joined by country music sensation Kenny Chesney and British chart-topper Natasha Bedingfield. McPhee, who is currently working with David Foster on her second album, will perform “Save The Last Dance for Me” at the event. Sparks, who is nominated for a BET Viewer’s Choice Award for her duet with Chris Brown, is set to perform her latest single “One Step at a Time.” Chesney will sing “Never Wanted Nothing More” and Bedingfield will sing “Pocketful of Sunshine.” Natalie Morales of NBC’s Today and Tiki Barber of Today and Football Night in America will co-host the event on Independence Day.
The Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular will air from 9-10 p.m. on NBC. Sound like something you’d watch? I don’t know if I’ll be tuning in for this. I’d rather find a local fireworks show than watch one on TV.

It’s a fabulous tradition. Since 1933 Rockefeller Plaza, in New York City’s Midtown Manhattan, has been the sight of the famous Christmas tree lighting. And last night was no different.
The 84-foot-tall Norway spruce was made eco-friendly this year. Covered with five miles of wire, the Rockefeller Christmas tree is lit with 30,000 LED lights.
Just before 9pm last night, Mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg was joined by the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes (the girls who kick their legs up together) to throw the switch that lit up the mountainous tree.
The event was star-studded all the way around, with appearances by Nick Lachey, Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Natasha Bedingfield, Sean Kingston, Taylor Swift, Tony Bennett, Josh Groban, and Ashley Tisdale.
Natasha Bedingfield is Back!
Natasha Bedingfield is Back!
For all of you Natasha Bedingfield fans out there, yesterday was a big day. Not only did her new album “Pocket Full of Sunshine” drop, but she whetted the appetites of her adoring fans with a visit to MTV’s TRL.
The “Unwritten” singer showed up at the 1515 Broadway studio looking hotter than ever in a black and white striped top, a white trench coat, and some killer black leather knee-high boots.
And the folks over at MTV had a fun little challenge for Natasha, coercing her to feel up some topless male models in order to pick their pockets for envelopes containing questions for her.
She was definitely a little timid as she reluctantly obliged. She stammered, “I hope my boyfriend’s not watching! Am I blushing?”
