With rumors spreading like wildfire, perhaps the best thing to do is spread some more…kinda like firemen setting a backfire to sap a blaze’s energy. Maybe that’s John Mayer’s strategy, because he told the crowd at his St. Louis show last night:
“When I was a child I would kill small animals and wear their teeth as necklaces. True. Print that. And I’ve always felt deep down that I was born a woman.”
On tour with Jennifer Aniston in tow, John set off on this goofy rumor jag after telling the amused multitudes that he enjoyed it when fans emailed him dubious tales from the tabloids. Some of the other felicitous fabrications, per People magazine, which John shared with the crowd:
He fears the color green. He weighed 400 pounds when he was 12. He wrote the lyrics to the Kenny Loggins hit “Danger Zone” at age 9. And he’s “33 percent done” with building a time machine.
Nice going, John. With rumors this good, who needs reality?

Then Thursday the peroxide pair showed up at Katsuya for a little Asian cuisine. And it looks like Pratt joined “Team Heidi” as he held up a t-shirt for the paps.
Yesterday they were caught lunching in West Hollywood together. And something about Heidi’s white dress and sexy demeanor made it clear that these two could be heading to the next level in their relationship pretty soon.

Meanwhile, Hilton is gearing up for a guest appearance on the FOX comedy “My Name Is Earl” during the season premiere, which airs on April 3rd.
“When we wrote the role … we weren’t exactly sure who to go with for the role,” said Greg Garcia, the show’s executive producer. “But after an exhausting search we finally settled on a relatively unknown actress by the name of Paris Hilton.”

The “Monster’s Ball” babe was spotted after a serious pampering session at Kinara Spa in West Hollywood yesterday afternoon.
It seems that the past few months of motherhood have had their fare share of stresses, hence the spa day for the “Swordfish” starlet.
And in keeping with the trend of celebrity mommies who have initial necklaces for their children, Halle was sporting an “N” pendant around her neck.
