With a new California law banning drivers from talking on their cell phones while driving going into effect today (July 1), Cameron Diaz was armed and ready with her hands-free headset as she pulled up to the gym.
Wearing a white top with black workout pants, the “What Happens In Vegas” hottie quickly switched back to her normal cell phone routine upon exiting her car – briskly walking past paparazzi and inside for her sweat session.
Meanwhile, in related news, Cameron’s rep has nixed rumors that she’s engaged to model Paul Sculfor – which first started after Diaz was spotted sporting a ring that all-important finger.
Her publicist told E! News, “It is not an engagement ring. It is her own ring, designed by her friend, Lenore Marusak, for La Paix.”

With gas prices soaring, and the environment languishing from all of the exhaust fumes, you’d think Britney Spears would take heed and try out a bicycle instead of tooling around in her V-8 Mercedes Benz all the time.
Unfortunately, that’s not the case. Yesterday the “Gimme More” singer and her sister Jamie-Lynn took a relaxing Sunday drive. Well, it was relaxing until Brit started getting lost to the point that the paparazzi had to give her directions back to her own house.
Then, later the sisters Spears elected to take a coffee break, stopping at their local Starbucks. But even that turned into a fiasco when a customer shouted, “We don’t want you here!” and tried to get physical with Jamie-Lynn.
Maybe Britney is just excited about her brand new California driver’s license. Or maybe the lack of kids to be responsible for made her feel free to go joyriding. Anything is possible these days.
