Mary-Kate Olsen Drops in on Letterman

Mary-Kate Olsen Drops in on Letterman

With her new film “The Wackness” hitting theaters in limited release this July 3rd, Mary-Kate Olsen is hitting the promotional trail in full force.

The former “Full House” hottie was spotted outside of the Ed Sullivan Theater in midtown Manhattan yesterday charming the throng of fans eagerly awaiting her arrival prior to her appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman.

She greeted onlookers and even posed for some pictures sporting a black-with-gold-sparkles thigh-high dress teamed with a pair of black Christian Louboutin heels.

During her interview, Mary-Kate revealed that she used to go to the same high school as The Hills’ Spencer Pratt.  When asked what he’s like, Olsen commented, “He doesn’t have a good temper!”

Lindsay Lohan’s Dad Drops By “Labor Pains” Set

Lindsay Lohan’s Dad Drops By “Labor Pains” Set

One of the coolest things about shooting a movie is getting to wear a bunch of amazing clothes!  And yesterday, Lindsay Lohan was spotted showing off a ton of fabulous looks.

The “Mean Girls” hottie has been hard at work as of late on her new film “Labor Pains” about an administrative assistant who fakes a pregnancy to avoid getting fired.  And it seems her character is quite the clotheshorse.

LiLo was wearing everything from a blue dress/white cardigan combo to a fabulous magenta frock teamed with a pair of gladiator sandals as she filmed her scenes.

At one point during the day, the “Georgia Rule” actress received a visit from her father Michael Lohan and his young girlfriend as they dropped off yet another dress for her to wear.

And as far as her ‘diva’ reputation, according to a source, Lindsay has been a total pro all throughout her new gig.  “She’s showing up early for call time, she knows her lines and her co-workers actually like her. She’s a total pro now.”

Lost: Taller Ghost Walt Talks About Who Has to Go Back to the Island

Malcolm David Kelley, Lost

One of the (many) burning questions inspired by the Lost finale is, “To whom was Ben referring when he says that everyone has to go back to the Island?” Meaning, who, exactly, is everyone?

Does everyone include Ji-Yeon, who was conceived on the Island but never took a breath there? Does it include helicopter pilot Frank, who just stopped by for a three-hour tour? And perhaps most intriguingly, does it include Walt, who left “early,” and whose father has surely already paid the piper?

Now, I can’t tell you yet if Ben’s edict includes the babies, but I can tell you what Malcolm David Kelley thinks about Walt’s situation! Click in to find out his take on Walt’s destiny:

When asked at the 34th Annual Saturn Awards in Universal City, Calif., if he thought Walt had to go back with the rest of the gang, Malcolm said, “Yeah, I think I should go back to the Island and stir up a little trouble back there. I think that’d be pretty cool.” Agreed!

Has he talked to the writers about guesting, recurring or becoming a regular on either of the show’s final two seasons? Said Malcolm: “They haven’t told me anything right now, but if and when they tell me, I’ll go out to Hawaii and start working.”

In the meanwhile, between now and the return of Lost, hang in there to see Malcolm in a new film he’s very enthusiastic about. He said, “I just finished a movie in North Carolina called Mississippi Damned. It should be coming out some time next year, and it’s a drama taking place in the ’80s and ’90s. It’s a very good movie—really deep.” Can’t wait!

Anyway, taller ghost Walt back on the Island for reals? Sounds absolutely fab to me—what do you think? Post in the comments.

Guy Ritchie’s RockNRolla Movie Trailer - Return to Form?

Empire has the movie trailer for Guy Ritchie’s new film RockNRolla. When a Russian mobster orchestrates a crooked land deal, millions of dollars are up for grabs, and all of London’s criminal underworld wants in on the action.  Everyone from a dangerous crime lord to a sexy accountant, a corrupt politician and down-on-their-luck petty thieves conspire, collude and collide with one another in an effort to get rich quick. I’m not quite sure what to think about this new trailer. On one hand it looks like a return to form for Ritchie. On the other it almost feels like Ritchie is doing an impression of his old self. Don’t get me wrong, it instantly looks 100 times more cool at Ritchie’s 2002 bomb Swept Away. Watch the trailer below and as always, tell me what you think in the comments!

Starring Gerard Butler, Thandie Newton, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jeremy Piven, Idris Elba, Tom Wilkinson, RockNRolla is set to hit theaters on October 31st 2008.
