Kim Kardashian Announces New Fragrance
She’s always been so kind and accommodating with the paparazzi. But yesterday, Kim Kardashian was showing signs that she wasn’t such a big fan of the shutterbugs anymore.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” hottie was spotted out and about in Hollywood, California doing some shopping and running some errands.
And much like her celebrity colleagues who have been wearing “I Want More Privacy” t-shirts, KK was sporting her own message - “This is not a photo opportunity” - on the front of her shirt.
Meanwhile, according to Kim’s blog, she’s in the development stages of her own signature fragrance, and she hopes to have it on the shelves of your local department stores by Mother’s Day 2009.
She wrote, “It has always been a dream of mine to start my own perfume business, since I love to mix fragrances together and come up with new and different scents! I hope you understand my total excitement as I let you, the readers of my blog, become the first to know that I am creating my own fragrance!!!”

Her career is the definition of longevity in the modeling industry. And Kate Moss was spotted in Berlin, Germany to promote her new fragrance.
Miss Moss arrived at Hotel de Rome at Bebelplatz Square earlier today looking smashing in a flirty grey tweed dress and a pair of chunky black heels. She’s in town to launch “Velvet Hour,” her new perfume.
Meanwhile, back in Mother England, Kate’s best friend Rhys Ifans is crashing at her pad whie trying to ward off the sting of being dumped by his ex-fiancé Sienna Miller. And Moss isn’t too keen on how it all went down.
According to press, Kate warned Sienna not to break Rhys’ heart at the inception of their relationship, yet Miller dealt a crushing blow by dumping Ifans over the phone.
An insider told press, “Rhys is probably Kate’s best male friend. In fact, she’s as close to him as a sister and she’s very protective of him because she knows his vulnerabilities. Kate’s not someone you’d want on the opposing team. She’s a formidable woman and very loyal when it comes to her friends. Kate has taken Rhys in and told him he can stay at her place for as long as he wants. He’s in a bad way and she’s really angry at Sienna, even though she knew she’d never stay with Rhys.”

Doing her best Barney impression, Mariah Carey made an appearance on BET’s 106 & Park yesterday. She was promoting her new fragrance, and also spoke of her new album, still in the works.
“M” by Mariah Carey was released to the public yesterday, and fans of the singer lined up overnight for a chance to buy the new perfume.
Manufactured by Elizabeth Arden, “M” is reportedly the first fragrance Mariah actually wears. She told press, “This is the first fragrance that I wear. I’m not really a perfume person at all … Things that are too strong and overwhelming, that’s what I was always not a fan of.”
She also talked a bit about her new album. “It’s hard for me to sit here and talk about it without sounding like I’m bragging if I’m in love with it, but I’m in love with this album. I think that having the success with the last record allowed me to have more freedom. … and just make records that I like. It’s kind of a really fun record.”

Wednesday night, Donna Karan New York hosted a Midtown Manhattan bash to celebrate the release of their new fragrance “DKNY Delicious Night.” And Ali Larter and Rashida Jones were among the Hollywood A-listers glamming it up.
With a glass of champagne in hand, the Heroes hottie gushed about her love of the Big Apple. “I’m so excited to be here in the city. I’m here with my girlfriends, and we’re going to have an amazing night. We’re going to have a great dinner at the Waverly (Inn) and drink champagne until dawn.”
When asked about her ideal NYC adventure, she replied, “The exact one I’m describing. That’s what we do. It’s not about dancing in nightclubs. It’s about having a great bottle of wine and great conversation. It’s a sexy city, and I’m excited to be here.”
Of her favorite activity in which to partake, Rashida Jones (currently working on both the Office and Unhitched) said, “Just walk around and make decisions as I’m walking of what to do. You can’t do that in L.A. People stare at you like you’re crazy. People don’t really walk. You sit on your (bottom) in the car all day long. It’s insane.”
Both Larter and Jones may be sitting on their collective bottom for awhile, along with the rest of those affected by the writer’s strike in the entertainment industry.
Ali told press, “It’s a very precarious time in Los Angeles. We can only shoot for a couple more days. It’s affected everyone, from our writers to our production assistants to craft service. You have to stand up for what you believe in, but the repercussions are — it’s just a difficult time for everyone.”
And Jones, whose new show doesn’t start filming until 2008, said that it’s tragic, even though it hasn’t put her out yet. “It’s affected so many of my friends. It’s only a couple of days in, and it’s a bummer. These people work so hard, and they’re the glue of the industry. They’re the reason the industry ticks, and to not give them the modicum of respect they deserve — it bums me out. I hope everyone comes to their senses.”
