Jonas Brothers Chill at Camp Rock Premiere
They’re well on their way to taking over the world! And the Jonas Brothers were in the house for the premiere of their new TV movie Camp Rock.
Camp Rock is scheduled to hit the Disney Channel airwaves next Friday, June 20th at 8pm, marking another milestone in the brotherly trio’s career.
Even the “Bonus Jonas” 8-year-old Frankie Jonas was in attendance yesterday, hamming it up for the camera and getting a jumpstart on his own career.
As far as Camp Rock, Joe plays Shane, the lead singer for a band called Connect Three and the movie’s main character. Nick plays guitarist/vocalist Nate and Kevin plays lead guitarist Jason. Not exactly a stretch character-wise, but it’s sure to be entertaining.
Lindsay & Sam: It’s Not Over (at Least Not Today)
Her new movie is called Labor Pains. But trying to keep up with the changing-every-five-minutes status of Lindsay Lohan’s friendship with Samantha Ronson is sometimes just a laborious pain.
Speculation was running rampant Monday that the inseparable duo were no longer an item, following an alleged argument over the weekend.
But there was Sam visiting her gal-pal on the Labor set Monday (yes, Monday), laughing it up and doing what she does bestjoining herself to LiLo’s hip.
What’s more, the two were seen dining later that night at L.A. hot spot Il Sole with “Smile” singer Lily Allen, who blogged about the evening on her MySpace page, calling Sam her “number one fan.”
No. 1 fan? Oh boy, we feel another rumor coming on.
It’s OK. We’re ready for it.
Weinstein’s To Release New Kyle Newman Cut of Fanboys!
Fanboys creator and co-screenwriter Ernie Cline has confirmed my report from last month that director Kyle Newman has been brought back to recut Fanboys.
“I’ve just received word that the director Kyle Newman has just completed a new cut of the movie with the original plot intact, and that it’s the version that will be released later this year,” Cline told UGO. “We’re hoping that the Weinstein Co. announces the release date soon.”
So there you have it. I’m guessing they will have something to announce at Comic-Con next month.

On a busy Friday afternoon, Kim Kardashian took a break from running errands to get some pictures developed at her local Kinkos shop.
The Reality TV princess made prints and a picture CD from her digital camera’s memory stick, including a few shots with her uber-hot NFL boyfriend Reggie Bush.
And the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” starlet was glowing in a gorgeous pink and orange sundress with a pair of casual sandals and a super swanky Louis Vuitton handbag.
If you’re as excited as we are about Kim’s new movie “Disaster Movie” (also starring Carmen Electra) there’s good news… its release date is August 29th, so there’s only a couple months left to wait!
