View Cohost Elisabeth Hasselbeck Has a Boy
Tim and Elisabeth Hasselbeck are the proud new parents of a boy, ABC.com reports.
The View cohost gave birth to a 7-lb. 15-oz. boy Friday morning at an Arizona hospital. Hasselbeck plans to call into the show Monday to announce her son’s name.
The baby joins big sister Grace, who is 2.
“We’re thrilled he arrived safely,” Tim Hasselbeck said in a statement. “Both mom and son are happy and healthy.”
The View cohost, 30, and her NFL quarterback husband, 29, moved to Arizona in October, after he signed a contract with the Arizona Cardinals.
The move brought early maternity leave for Elisabeth, who has pledged to return to the ABC morning talk show. When she had Grace, she took a total of six weeks off.
Hasselbeck first announced this pregnancy on her show in April.

I must admit, I’m a fan of The Rock. I think he could be the next big action star, if he got the right roles. And the fact that his new film, Disney’s The Game Plan was shot in my hometown (and at the New England Patriots’ Gillette Stadium), with a few of my close friends on screen, it should be hard for me to not like this film. I mean, for months I’ve actually been excited to see it. Disney has made a couple good sports films, and a bunch of bad ones. Unfortunately, The Game Plan looks like it could be one of the aforementioned clunkers. The Rock has a huge sense of comic timing, and that if not anything else, is very evident in this trailer. The movie follows an NFL quarterback living the bachelor lifestyle who discovers that he has a 7-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. The film also stars Kyra Sedgwick. Yes, this is the movie where The Rock sustained a ruptured Achilles tendon injury which forced the studio to postpone production for a few months. Although no official release date has been announced, we expect this one to hit theaters sometime during the 2007 football season.

Rumors are mounting that socialite Kim Kardashian is getting set to announce her love for New Orleans Saints football star Reggie Bush to the world.
Kardashian, 26, was little-known until receiving attention because of her close friendship with Paris Hilton and then for a sex tape made with former beau, Ray J.
Kim is said to have first met Reggie after being introduced by Paris and her short-time sweetheart Matt Leinart. Leinart is an NFL quarterback and former teammate of Reggie while the two attended USC.
Kim and Reg then started casually dating after Kardashian’s break-up with MTV star Nick Cannon in January.
According to US Weekly sources, the romance has been heating up recently after the two were spotted getting it on at a L.A. nightclub on May 10.
Apparently, the duo were ‘grinding’ and ‘making out’ on the dance floor, with the US Weekly insider adding, “You can tell they really get along. Now she’s ready to go public with him.”
Other recent sitings of the couple include a dinner at Ivy on L.A.’s trendy Robertson Blvd, as well as a visit to the Samsung party at an L.A. mansion, where they were “getting cozy and later left the party together.”

Jessica Simpson and boyfriend Tony Romo enjoyed a fun-filled double-date with CaCee Cobb and Donald Faison Saturday night.
First, the foursome headed to L.A. hotspot Villa, where they asked the DJ to play a few choice tunes. “They requested really fun, ’Sweet Home Alabama’-type things that everybody knows,” says a fellow clubgoer. “They were singing and dancing on the banquettes, really high energy.”
But Simpson and the Dallas-based NFL quarterback – who have been dating since fall – did manage a few private moments.
“Jess and Tony were really affectionate, hugging and kissing,” said the witness. “They’re really sweet with each other.”
Afterward, they parted ways with Simpson’s former assistant and her Scrubs-star beau – who has called Romo a “great guy” – and headed to Teddy’s.
Simpson and Romo, both 27, looked “insanely happy together,” said an onlooker. “Lots of laughing and cuddling up.”
The two certainly do seem serious, said one pal. “Tony loves that girl.”
