Nicole Names Baby Sunday Rose Urban Kidman
As an update to the ’ story on Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s new baby girl, the couple has announced their daughter’s name - Sunday Rose Urban Kidman.
And according to Urban’s rep, things are so far so good for the Urban trio. “Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side and mother and baby are very well. They are delighted.”
This morning Keith wrote on his website, “Earlier this morning, Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today.”
In a recent interview, the “Others” actress said that her pregnancy was a special surprise. “I didn’t think I’d get to experience that in my lifetime. I like the unpredictable nature of it. To feel life growing with you is something very, very special, and I’m going to embrace that completely.”
And up to the day before she gave birth, Kidman stayed active, pictured below on her way to a yoga class on Sunday afternoon.

Nicole Kidman can’t believe she’s pregnant.
“When I first saw the baby on the ultrasound, I started crying,” she says in the new issue of Vogue. “I didn’t think I’d get to experience that in my lifetime…To feel life growing with you is something very, very special, and I’m going to embrace that completely. I don’t believe in flittering around the edges of things. You’re either going to walk through life and experience it fully or you’re going to be a voyeur. And I’m not a voyeur.”
And that means experiencing the good and the bad.
If you remember, Nic’s husband, Keith Urban, checked himself into rehab shortly after they were married. Now, Vogue writer John Powers reports, she and Urban are never apart for more than five days at a time. “I’m so committed to this relationship, and so is he,” Kidman says. “I don’t have addiction problems, but love is a very powerful force in my life. It’s my fatal flaw and my virtue.”
Also powerful in her life? Work.
You can’t accuse Ms. Kidman of not going all the way for a role.
In the upcoming Baz Luhrmann epic, Australia, they shot in some pretty far-flung locales Down Under.
“It’s the roughest thing I ever had to go through,” Kidman says. “The heat is debilitating. I was sitting on a horse once and I remember thinking, Gosh, this is what it feels like before you faintand then I fainted.”

She has a hot, hunky County singer husband and a baby on the way. And Nicole Kidman couldn’t be happier with her family life.
The “Others” actress was spotted on her way to lunch with her parents, sister Antonia, niece Lucia and a young aboriginal boy this past Saturday in her native Australia.
The whole Kidman clan dined at Nostimo Restaurant in the Aussie town of Woolahra. But lunch was just the beginning of their family day out.
Leaving Nostimo, the whole gang headed over to The Josef Lebovic Gallery in Paddington. Nic even purchased a painting for her parents while they were there.
Nicole, Joel and Harlow Hit Coachella
Joel Madden took the whole family with him to the desert this weekend for Coachella, where he was deejaying at the BPM Hpnotiq House.
"We're all here," Joel told E!, revealing his weekend plans with Nicole Richie and baby Harlow. "We have a nice little house. We're just sitting by the pool. It's really relaxing. We are going to stay the whole weekend."
While Nicole was on hand to support her man as he spun, they wisely left little Harlow back in their rented pad. Joel was overheard telling fellow party guest Taryn Manning that Nic is a super mom and he's proud to be with her. All together now…awww!
The new mama certainly seemed to be enjoying herself, as she danced with friends and goofed around while hanging poolside. Nic looked Coachella cazh, in a white flowy top, denim cutoffs and red heart-shaped sunglasses.
Joel also dished that it was his very first Coachella, although Nicole's a veteran to the annual music fest in Indio. Geez, Harlow's not even a year old and she's already at Coachella?
She's obviously way cooler than us.
