Stump the King - Kyle Chandler
This week’s question was rather easy.
Judy writes…
“I’m trying to find about a tv show that was in the 1990s that was cancelled. It was about a guy living in the city. He would look at the newspaper. The newspaper told the future. He would see a disaster and then save the person. Do you know the name of this tv show?”
I’m sure most of you recognize that the show in question is Early Edition starring Kyle Chandler.
I was a huge fan of Early Edition and loved Kyle Chandler. Since then, I have always thought it was interesting that he has taken so many different types of acting roles.
On EE he was a good-hearted guy trying to do the right thing. On What About Joan he was a jerk with a soft side in love with a goofy girl and on The Lyon’s Den he was an immoral douchebag.
Now it seems he has taken parts of all those characters for his role on Friday Night Lights. Just an observation.
Now for this week’s question…
Which talk show host appeared as himself on Early Edition?
Jeff was the first one with the correct answer. Nice job, Jeff.
Marvel Studios Announces Release Dates For Iron Man 2, The Avengers, Thor, The First Avenger: Captain America

An umbrella won’t help. Hot off the $100 million opening of Iron Man (nice job Steve!), the ever powerful Marvel Studios opened its war chest up today, revealing the company’s in-house feature roll out through 2011. Here’s what it looks like…

2010
April 30th: Iron Man 2
June 4th: Thor (directed by Matthew Vaughn)
2011
May 6th: The First Avenger: Captain America
July (day N/A): The Avengers
So, two Avengers films in 2011, eh? Unprecedented. DC’s Justice League is bummed. In addition to the line-up above, Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man is still in the planning stages at the studio, and obviously June brings us The Incredible Hulk, followed by Punisher: War Zone in December. Sure, you could say today marks a new dawn for the superhero movie. It’s a shame that Fav doesn’t have an uncensored Twitter.

Blake Lively: Pre-Gossip Girl Nosejob?
Blake Lively: Pre-Gossip Girl Nosejob?
Her ever-popular TV series Gossip Girl returns to the airwaves on April 21st, and Blake Lively has been hard at work filming new episodes.
The Serena van Der Woodsen actress was spotted leaving the show’s New York City set earlier today with a cup of coffee and a furry friend.
Blake sported a tan jacket, jeans, knee-high leather boots and a Chanel bag that looked big enough to carry the pooch!
Now that she’s uber-famous, Lively has been getting scrutinized by critics that claim that before Gossip Girl, the 20-year-old actress had a rhinoplasty procedure performed.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Yuon commented, “I agree that it appears that her nose is thinner and fits her face much better. She looks great. The surgeon did a nice job.”
