They’ve both been busy as of late attending to their respective careers. But yesterday, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo were spotted traveling together through LAX International Airport.
The former Newlyweds stud and his former MTV veejay sweetie looked refreshed as they made their way through the terminal, having just returned from a trip to New York City.
Nick sported a preppy blue polo shirt with a matching baseball cap and jeans as he carried their dog wookie around the baggage claim, while Vanessa looked sexy in a multicolored cleavage-baring dress.
While in the Big Apple, they checked out Nick’s brother Drew’s current Broadway gig ‘Spamalot,’ with a romantic pre-show dinner at the Gramercy Park Hotel, and a post-show nightcap at Empire hotel.
High School Musical is hitting the beach
So, if you’re a High School Musical fan and if you live in New York, New Jersey, or California, you’re in luck. To promote the new reality series, High School Musical: Get in the Picture, ABC is hitting beaches on both coasts with free ice cream, games and prizes. The promotional tour will begin this weekend and continue all month leading up to the premiere of the series. The show, hosted by Nick Lachey, will feature talented teens from all over the U.S. as they compete for a chance to be in the next High School Musical.
As if anything to do with High School Musical needed any more promotion…
The schedule for the tour is after the jump. High School Musical: Get in the Picture premieres on Sunday, July 20th from 8-9 p.m. on ABC.

Staying in Los Angeles for only a few short days following a recent trip to Salt Lake City, Vanessa Minnillo was once again spotted jetting out of LAX Airport on Saturday (June 28).
With her faithful pup Wookie in her arms, the former Miss Teen USA endured the painstaking task of going through check-in and security before finding her terminal and boarding the plane.
Less than a week ago, Vanessa, 27, took a trip to Utah to visit boyfriend Nick Lachey - where the two fit in a little pool time at his upscale hotel. Lachey, 34, has been situated there while he works on the reality show “High School Musical: Get in the Picture”.
Talking about his latest work, Nick told press: “Going into this project, I really wanted to be a little bit of a mentor to them. Obviously these kids are all here eyes wide open. It’s a great opportunity for them and I just try to tell them to relax and have fun, be themselves. I think they’re all talented.”
Meanwhile, Vanessa is currently looking forward to the August 29th release of her new film, “Disaster Movie”, in which she stars alongside Kim Kardashian and Carmen Electra.
Million Dollar Listing premieres this summer on Bravo
Bravo is bringing back Million Dollar Listing for a second season this summer. The docu-series gives viewers an inside look at the most exclusive realtors in the Los Angeles area, a luxurious but dangerous place to work. Despite the soft market, these agents will stop at nothing to close million dollar deals in neighborhoods like Malibu, Beverly Hills and Hollywood.
Josh Flagg, Madison Hildebrand and Chad Rogers, L.A.’s up-and-coming realtors, are the stars of this season. Flagg is known to send clients up in helicopters to view properties and has wrapped a home in a big red bow for a pair of new owners. Hildebrand, touted as the “King of Malibu,” has sold over 80 million in real estate in the past two years. Rogers had his real estate license at the age of 18. Some of his celebrity clients include Paris Hilton, Nick Lachey, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Minnie Driver, and Coach Larry Brown.
I tried watching Million Dollar Listing last season. I thought, “Hmm. I like big expensive houses. I like Flipping Out. I’ll probably like this show.” It was so boring. I felt like the drama between the agents was contrived and no one was interesting enough. Flipping Out is a much better show on all accounts. First, there’s Jeff Lewis. I could watch Jeff Lewis brush his teeth and it would be interesting (probably because he have some neurotic freak out about the kind of toothpaste or how it was placed in the drawer). Second, the show does a good job of explaining the professional elements without making it too technical. Lastly, all of the other “characters” on the show are involved with Jeff. They give us even more insight into Jeff’s pysche.
Million Dollar Listing will premiere on Tuesday August 5th at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo, immediately following the season finale of Flipping Out. The series will then move to its regular time, Tuesdays at 10 p.m.
