It looks like she got her life back on track just in time to become an aunt. And Britney Spears was spotted arriving back home in LA following her niece Maddi Briann’s birth.
The “Gimme More” songstress arrived at LAX International Airport after spending three days in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana. She was accompanied by her father/co-conservator Jamie Spears.
According to sources, Brit spent as much time with her sister/new mother Jamie-Lynn as she could before having to return to Los Angeles to continue work on her new album/comeback.
Swarmed with paparazzi, the father-daughter Spears team made their way slowly through the terminal to a waiting car. And the “Toxic” babe looked cute in a blue and black psychedelic hippie-style dress with UGGs and a pair of shades.

Following a hectic day in which she welcomed a niece into the world, Britney Spears was spotted out at a convenience store near her home in Kentwood, Louisiana on Thursday (June 19).
Earlier in the day, the Gimme More singer visited her sister at the Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Mississippi, where Jamie-Lynn gave birth to a baby girl named Maddie Briann.
On the topic of Jamie-Lynn’s pregnancy, relatives and friends have been ready and willing to talk with press on the matter.
“We’re so excited for her,” a family friend enthusiastically told People magazine “She’ll be a great mom. She’ll be awesome.”
Meanwhile, a cousin of babydaddy Casey Aldridge tells: “It seemed like this day would never come,. They’ve been getting ready, but everything was pretty much done by last month. So they just had to wait.”
Offering words of caution, Charlie Spears adds: “It’s easy to have them, but hard to raise them. I hope she’s healthy, and I hope they raise a good baby.”

The littlest Spears has made way for an even tinier version of herself.
E! News has confirmed that Jamie Lynn Spears and fiancé Casey Aldridge welcomed daughter Maddie Briann this morning, the first child for the young couple.
The tot was born this morning at the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, Miss., near the Spears’ home base of Kentwood, La., just after 9:30 a.m.
Jamie Lynn Spears, 17, and Aldridge, 19, arrived at the hospital at 5 a.m. Her parents, Jamie and Lynne, arrived at 5:45 a.m., followed by siblings Britney and Bryan at about 8.
In a statement to OK! magazine, which paid for exclusive rights to the newborn’s first photo spread, a family rep said: “Both mom and baby are healthy and happy. They are surrounded by their close relatives.”
The tyke tipped the scales at 7 pounds, 11 ounces.
After spending the early morning by her sister’s side, a weary Britney left the hospital about an hour after the birth and headed back to her mother’s house in Kentwood, according to an eyewitness.
Jamie Lynn and her betrothed recently purchased a new home on a five-acre lot in nearby Liberty, where they’ve been busy putting the finishing touches on their daughter’s pink, brown and metallic-green nursery.
In town to greet her new niece was aunt Britney, who flew in from Los Angeles along with dad Jamie and brother Bryan on Wednesday morning. The trio touched down in New Orleans and drove to matriarch Lynne Spears’ home in Kentwood, Britney’s first visit to her hometown since Jamie Lynn’s baby shower in early May.
While still mainly known for being Britney’s sis and the star of the Nickelodeon sitcom Zoey 101, Jamie Lynn confirmed that she was about 12 weeks pregnant in December, telling OK! magazine, “I was in complete and total shock and so was [Aldridge].”
“As soon as I found out for sure from the doctor, I took two weeks to myself where I didn’t tell anybody,” she said. “Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone’s opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me.”
Despite rumors of trouble in paradise, the teenagers got engaged in March, with plans to tie the knot after their baby arrived.

High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale was spotted showing off a new hairdo on Friday at a swanky Beverly Hills Salon.
The 22-year-old is enjoying the comforts of fame, but, according to recent reports, life for her father’s sister is very different.
It just so happens that Aunt Peggy Tisdale is “locked up in a Florida prison, serving time for felony drug trafficking after being given a 10-year prison sentence on January 21, 2005, a year before High School Musical premiered.”
The report goes on to tell: “She was found guilty in Florida’s Pinellas County Circuit Court on five drug charges. She also has previous felony convictions for possession of cocaine, possession of firearms and battery of a law enforcement officer.”
And showing that Peggy may not be reformed quite yet, a former fellow inmate told press that Aunt Tisdale is “doing a brisk business selling photos of her niece — on which Peggy has forged Ashley’s signature!”
