Ex-Bachelor Firestone Weds Model Bride

Andrew Firestone, Ivana Bozilovic

There were no sour grapes for Andrew Firestone this weekend.

The former Bachelor swapped vows Saturday with model Ivana Bozilovic at St. Mark’s in the Valley Episcopal Church in Los Olivos, the central coastal town just north of Santa Barbara, Calif., where his family owns a vineyard.

The nuptials were part of a three-day wedding event the duo planned for family and friends, which also included a Western-style barbecue and an al fresco rehearsal dinner.

Firestone, great-grandson of Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. founder Harvey Firestone, offered a 2.5-carat engagement ring to his Serbian-born, Chicago-bred beloved on Sept. 28, 2007Bozilovic’s 30th birthdayafter two years of dating. He popped the question on the beach right before the surprise party he threw for her.

“I was hoping she would say yes,” the 32-year-old wine enthusiast told Us Weekly in October. “I was banking on it!”

And Firestone knows only too well that not everything works out in real life like it supposedly does on TV. He was briefly engaged to Jennifer Schefft, the recipient of The Bachelor’s final rose in season three, but the couple went their separate ways in December 2003.

“Sometimes you get hurt before you actually make it right,” Firestone said recently. “[Ivana] makes me a better person. Never before have I been so gushy.”

Wedding Bells (Again) for Sara Evans

Jay Barker, Sara Evans

If at first you don’t succeed…

Country music star Sara Evans married former University of Alabama quarterback Jay Barker Saturday evening in an outdoor ceremony on a farm in Franklin, Tenn. It’s the second marriage for both.

More than 130 guests witnessed the bride, 37, being escorted down the aisle by her 8-year-old son Avery. The black-and-white-themed ceremony was a family affair, with the couple’s seven children (Evans has three and Barker has four) serving as attendants.

Evans wore an ivory silk taffeta wedding gown by Vera Wang, while Barker, 35, wore a suit by Dolce and Gabbana. He hosts a morning sports radio show in Alabama.

The couple announced their engagement on March 24 and were introduced to each other last year by their minister, Joe Beam, who performed the nuptials. They had each turned to Beam for support after their respective divorces.

Barker’s 14-year marriage ended in the summer of 2007. Evans’ 13-year marriage to politico Craig Schelske came to a grinding halt in October 2006 amid allegations of infidelity on both sides. The ugly, high-profile divorce began while she was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.

Heidi and Spencer’s Television Wedding?

Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt want to do it on live television.

The pressaholic reality-television couple have been talking to MTV honchos about a live telecast of their upcoming nuptials!

Montag, 21, has told MTV programming and development honcho Tony DiSanto that they’re ready to say their I-do’s for the cameras, a source reports.

No surprise, but DiSanto is said to be keen on the idea.

According to Montag and Pratt’s weekly latest cover story in Us, their dream is a small wedding on Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the Virgin Islands, with catering by Wolfgang Puck’s Cut restaurant, watches by Jason of Beverly Hills for all their guests and a performance by U2.

Of course, Montag wants to warble out a tune, too.

The island thing probably won’t work out, so MTV might as well kill two birds with one stonehow about Montag and Pratt get hitched onstage during the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards?!

Hey, maybe Bromance studster Brody Jenner can get ordained by an Internet ministry and actually marry them, too!
