Madonna: Still No Ring on Friday Night

Madonna: Still No Ring on Friday Night

She sparked rumors earlier this week when she stopped wearing her wedding ring, and last night on her way to a Kabbalah service, Madonna was still without her left ring finger adornment.

And it was a flurry of Madonna offspring outside the New York City Kabbalah center, as Carlos Leon brought his daughter Lourdes (Madonna’s eldest) to meet up with the “Like a Virgin” singer.

Madge also had her son (with Guy Ritchie) Rocco and adopted son David Banda in tow as she was spotted heading back to her Manhattan home.

According to industry insider Jess Cagle, the dissolution of Madonna and Guy’s marriage has certainly gone beyond the rumor stage.  “More telling than media reports is the fact that the Madonna camp is issuing a ‘no comment.’ I think, if it wasn’t true, or if something wasn’t going on, they would have issued a denial.”

There are also reports that the “Music” songstress has already held preliminary meetings with the same lawyer who represented Paul McCartney in his recent divorce case, Fiona Shackleton.

Kid Rock Hospitalized for Dehydration

Kid Rock

Minutes before he was to hit the stage, Kid Rock pulled out of a performance in England Friday afternoon and was rushed to a hospital and treated for dehydration.

The 37-year-old rocker was scheduled to play at the Download Festival, a three-day British music concert that also featured Judas Priest, Incubus and The Offspring.

At the last minute, announcers told the audience that Kid Rock was unwell and wouldn’t perform. His rep later told reporters that his client was suffering from stomach cramps and dehydration.

Maybe the thought of ex-wife Pamela Anderson reuniting with Tommy Lee made him sick, too?

Another celebrity couple’s offspring wants a shot at Hollywood!

Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson’s daughter, Dakota Johnson, is starting to make a name for herself in the modeling world, but what she really wants to do isyou guessed itact.

“Everyone has that thing that sparks some sort of emotion in them,” Dakota says in the new issue of Aspen Peak magazine. “Acting does that for me.”

The 18-year-old stunner was recently shot by fashion bible Vogue after signing with modeling powerhouse agency IMG. “[It was my] first real job since I started modeling,” she says. “It was pretty surreal, the fact that I was doing Vogue. It didn’t really sink in until afterward.”

So far, it sounds like Dakota has a pretty good head on her shoulders because, she insists, she’s taking it one day at a time. “I don’t know where I’m going to be tomorrow or in a week,” she says. “I don’t know what’s going to happen, and I’m not rushing anywhere.”

Looming Actors’ Strike Terminates Film Role

Bryce Dallas Howard

For the next Terminator installment, what’s lost is Gainsbourg, thanks to the threat of an actors’ strike.

What’s gained, however, is Bryce Dallas Howard.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Opie’s offspring is in negotiations to replace French actress Charlotte Gainsbourg in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.

Gainsbourg was forced to pull out of the cyborg-battling production due to scheduling conflicts that may arise should the strike go into effect.

Should the work stoppage occur, production on Terminator would inevitably be postponed, with filming potentially running into the allotted time for a French comedy that Gainsbourg has already signed on to shoot later this year.

As it is, her old roleKate Connor, the wife of John Connor, played by Christian Baleis just about officially in Howard’s capable hands.

Shooting on the film is under way in New Mexico.
