Lauren Conrad Shops, Audrina Patridge Talks
Lauren Conrad Shops, Audrina Patridge Talks
Now that she’s entered the fashion world with a line of her own, Lauren Conrad has all the reason she needs to spend days shopping with her girlfriends.
Checking out the latest offerings in West Hollywood, the star of MTV hit The Hills was spotted checking up on the latest trends with a gal pal yesterday.
Speaking of gal pals, LC’s new roomie, Audrina Patridge, has been speaking out of late about the never-ending drama between Lauren and Heidi Montag.
“Heidi and I were friends,” Patridge told People magazine. “I didn’t know Lauren, but Heidi and me always hung out, and then I became friends with Lauren … I mean, so many things change all the time.”
And now that Audrina’s become closer to Lauren, it’s going to take some work on Heidi’s part to win her old friend back.
“If I ran into her (Heidi) I wouldn’t go up to her … (She’s) another person who hurt my friend. If I saw her out and she came up to me to say ‘hi’ I’d say ‘hi,’ but I’m not going to go out of my way.”
George Harrison’s Flower Power
All you need may be love. But a green thumb wouldn't hurt, either.
George Harrison's widow, Olivia, with a little help from his old friend Ringo Starr, opened a special memorial garden in honor of the late Beatle in London Monday, during the city's world famous Chelsea Flower Show.
"I really cannot think of a more joyful thing to do for George, and I know he would approve," she said of the "Life to Life" garden, which is divided into three parts, each signifying a portion of the quiet Beatle's life.
Harrison was an avid gardener who even dedicated his autobiography, I Me Mine, "to all gardeners everywhere, " and the space is his widow's way of honoring the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, who died of cancer in 2001.
Per Olivia, all her late husband's favorite bits of greenery were accounted for, interwoven with his song lyrics, a photo of the artist and a giant "Here Comes the Sun" emblem.
Here comes the tourist hot spot, more like.

In the meantime, I must break in with the fabulous news that our old friend Dawson Leery, aka James Van Der Beek, has officially agreed to guest star on How I Met Your Mother's upcoming "Robin Sparkles" episode. I'm hearing he plays the Canadian pop star's crush, but I have yet to get confirmation on that little detail. Sounds about right though, no?!
