Brooke Hogan "Freaked Out" Over Mom’s Romance

Linda Hogan, Charlie Hill

Not everyone approves of Hollywood cougarsleast of all their cubs.

Brooke Hogan’s reaction to her 48-year-old mom, Linda, dating someone 29 years her junior? “I’m totally freaked out,” she told satellite radio personality Michael Yo during a conversation the two had off air.

“I personally don’t like it at all or condone it, but she’s my mom, so I have to show her support.”

The Hulkster’s daughter also confirmed that mom’s man-child, Charley Hill, 19, was a classmate of hers and her jailed brother, Nick

“I went to school with him. He was a grade under me…Me and Nick know him well. Me and Nick are two years apart, and he was right between us (in school).”

While nothing about the Hogansperma-tans and peroxide ’dos includedmight seem normal to anyone else, Brooke says she thought her family was just a run-of-the-mill Hollywood clan, but that perception has changed a tad.

“I am just staying the course and dealing with it and supporting my family,” says Brooke. “I’m actually on my way to see Nick now…You know, I thought we were one of the normal Hollywood families. It’s crazy watching it all fall apart, but I hope for the best.”

ABC orders four more pilots

abcThere was more pilot news percolating out of ABC yesterday, including three dramas and a sitcom. On the funny side, writer/producers Jennifer Konner and Alexandra Rushfield are working on Bad Mother’s Handbook. It follows the life of a busy, thirtysomething mom dealing with the needs/wants/desires of her teenaged daughter and 48-year old mother. Hmm, sounds like a close knit family! You think they’re all under one roof? The sitcom will be a single-camera affair, half-hour laugh fest (or so we hope). I vote for Jamie Lee Curtis as the 48-year old mom. She can still play 48; yes, she can. She looks great on those yogurt commercials!

The other three go-aheads are all crime/police oriented. In Castle, a novelist of horror stories (Stephen King-like perhaps?) lends his expertise to the NYPD homicide squad. Maybe he’s Monk without the neuroses, but I think this will be darker. It was written by Andrew Marlowe who also wrote the Arnold Schwarzenegger action movie End of Days.

Also on the police beat, The Unusuals comes from the pen of Noah Hawley (Bones). It’s the story of a New York police precinct. Rescue Me vet Peter Tolan is the executive producer, and like that show, The Unusuals will blend drama with comedy.

Finally, there’s Finnegan, also set in copworld, but this one is based in L.A. A tough female detective leads the organized crime/vice unit. Trent Jones (Threat Matrix) is the writer.

Madonna and Lourdes (Lola) in New York City

Madonna is in New York City! She’ll be performing at Madison Square Gardens and in Connecticut. The above is a photo of Madonna with Lourdes (Lola) looking very grown up for an 9 year old! Mom would look a lot sexier in jeans and a tee shirt, not sure why the proper dress was in order but she’s the queen of pop she can do whatever the hell she wants! Right!?!
