Jonas Brothers Mobbed by Fans
Jonas Brothers Mobbed by Fans
When it comes to fanfare and pandemonium, it’s hard to compete with the Jonas Brothers . And this morning was just another example of how much their fans love them.
The JoBros are currently in New York City on a promotional tour for their new movie Camp Rock that hits the Disney Channel airwaves next Friday June 20th at 8pm.
And as part of their duties, Nick, Joe, and Kevin paid a visit to “Live with Regis and Kelly.” But first they had to wade their way through a sea of adoring fans outside their hotel.
Not to worry- armed with killer smiles and Sharpie markers, the three heartthrobs made quick work of meeting and greeting their peeps before heading over to the TV studio.
Hilary Duff: Living it Up Down Under
Hilary Duff: Living it Up Down Under
She’s known the world over as the “good girl” of American pop culture, and Hilary Duff has been stirring up all kinds of pandemonium among her teenage fans in Australia.
The “Lizzie McGuire” actress made a stop at Myer’s Sydney city store earlier today (Australia is almost a full day ahead of the U.S. in reference to time zone) to meet fans, sign autographs, and announce the arrival of her new fragrance, “Wrapped With Love.”
Reportedly, a crowd of hundreds of fans gathered at the Myer’s store to catch a glimpse of Duff, while about 150 lucky teens waited in line to get her autograph. One fan told press, “We bought tickets to her concert as soon as they went on sale. We’ve got all of her albums and we love her. We only like her, not any of the others like Britney.”
Following her perfume launch, Hilary went on to perform a show for an enthusiastic Sydney crowd at the Acer Arena later on in the evening. From here, Duff wraps up her time in Australia on Sunday with a concert in Melbourne.
Eli Roth’s Big Budget PG-13 Sci-Fi Mass-Destruction Movie

Hostel/Cabin Fever writer/director Eli Roth is two weeks away from finishing a script for a science-fiction action film inspired by Cloverfield and Transformers.
“This will be my first big-budget, PG-13, mass-destruction movie,” Roth revealed. “I went total chaos and pandemonium. I feel like I pushed the violence in R movies about as far as I can push it. I feel like I’m bled out. I wanna switch it up. Everyone I know has been saying ‘When are you gonna do a movie my kids can see?’ And finally, I’m gonna make a movie that 13-year-old kids can see.”
No plot details have been revealed but Roth plans to make a big announcement next month. It appears that Roth is writing this new project completely on spec, as he says he will be shopping the project to all “the big guns.”
So what will become of Trailer Trash, the project that spun off from Roth’s experiences filming the faux movie trailer Thanksgiving for Grindhouse. The R-Rated “totally silly and absurd” comedy would feature a string of fake movie trailers that would somehow have a narrative through-line. The Mike Fleiss-produced project was set up at Raw Nerve, with an original August 22nd 2008 release date announced by MGM. As far as I can tell, the film has yet to begin principal photography. Roth was also attached to direct an adaptation of the Stephen King novel Cell for Dimension Films. But this adaptation seems to have fallen into development heck.

Katie Holmes: Back in the States
Katie Holmes: Back in the States
While being a celebrity definitely has some drawbacks (no privacy, constant rumors) it more than makes up for them in benefits. Take Katie Holmes for example. She’s married to Tom Cruise and goes on Mediterranean cruises at the drop of a hat.
The 28-year-old Toledo, Ohio native is back in the US after a fun little trip around the coastline of France and Italy aboard a multi-million-dollar yacht. She and Tom took the holiday to spend some time together.
Tom’s been pretty busy filming Valkyrie, a German WWII movie about a failed attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler. And it appears that Katie was tired of being away from her man.
The Minority Report actor took his wife and daughter aboard the Arctic P. yacht to spend some time together. Another couple joined them.
And when they reached St. Tropez, there was an influx of pandemonium. One witness says it was, “crazy, crazy, crazy. It was an amazing surprise. There were maybe 500 to 600 people gathered outside when they tried leaving (the club). It was like word of mouth had spread all along the Cote d’Azur.”
