Sure, she didn’t come out on top at Wimbledon, but that’s not stopping Maria Sharapova from enjoying some cutting edge fashion in Paris.
The 21-year-old tennis hottie was spotted out and about in the City of Lights for the 2008 Paris Fashion Week, looking hot in a silver coat overtop a black pencil skirt and a pair of unique black heels.
Throughout her day yesterday, Miss Sharapova arrived at the Place Vendome before heading over to the Valentino catwalk show.
Of her loss at Wimbledon, she told press, “I have had to deal with a lot of ups and downs in my life, on and off the court. But the number one thing is not to be disappointed by that, or by losses, or by negative things, things here and there. You have to find a way to keep your head even though it’s pretty tough.”

With all of the drama surrounding her split from her husband, British rocker Royston Langdon, it’s no wonder the “Empire Records” babe needed a break from reality. The ex-couple have one child, a three-year-old son named Milo.

Continuing to get her fill of fashion, Claudia Schiffer was back at Paris Fashion Week for the second day in a row - attending Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel Autumn/Winter 2008– 2009 collection show on Tuesday (July 1).
The 37-year-old German supermodel showed up decked out in a v-neck ¾ sleeved blazer dress with a matching Chanel clutch in hand.
Joining Miss Schiffer in the front row were fellow celebs including Patricia Arquette, Micky Green, Ayo, and Kasia Smutniak, among others.
According to press on hand, “Lagerfeld stayed in the family of grey and opted for a simple, classy, clean look for Fall. Most dresses designed by Lagerfeld were consistent with the fitted waist and flirty skirt.”

After spending the past week immersed in Paris fashion week, Victoria Beckham was spotted strolling through Heathrow airport yesterday.
Dressed in black, Posh was heading back to her home in the States, where she’s spent little time recently due to her fashion duties and visiting David’s dad in the hospital.
Speaking of her visit to the hospital, a story was just released telling of a diva moment that Victoria had while at Ted Beckham’s bedside.
A fellow visitor at the London Chest Hospital told press: “She was offered a cup of coffee by one of the staff. But she wanted to know what kind of water had it been made with—bottled or tap. Obviously it was tap water and she said, ‘No, thank you’.
“The staff were bemused. Water is boiled anyway, so people didn’t understand what the problem was,” the insider adds.
