Jessica Simpson: Birthday Dinner with Tony Romo
Jessica Simpson: Birthday Dinner with Tony Romo
When you’re a big time celebrity, one birthday celebration is never enough. And though Jessica Simpson turns 28 on Thursday (July 10th), she was spotted getting things started a bit early last night (July 7).
The pop-singer-turned-country was seen enjoying a romantic dinner out at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, California joined by her boyfriend Tony Romo, as well as sister Ashlee and her hubby Pete Wentz.
Clad in a beautiful form-fitting, cleavage-baring purple dress along with a pair of brown leather cowboy boots, Jessica and Co. finished up at the Sagebrush and then headed out to do a little partying.
They decided on the Key Club for drinks and dancing into the wee hours of the night. If her pre-birthday night was this much fun, you gotta wonder what’s in store this Thursday!
Wanted Creator Mark Millar Confirms Sequel, Insults Wall-E

Twitter has been flush with positive, early endorsements, Slashfilm’s included, for Wanted, the R-rated bulletime fiesta opening this weekend based on Mark Millar’s lauded comic book miniseries. A veddy confident Millar has announced via his message board that the studio is already putting its sequelitis into action, and then he aimed his gold-plated Uzi at Wall-E…and fired!
“PS: Wanted 2 already being planned and they’ve asked me how I can develop some of the other stuff from the book into the sequel. We’ll see what box office is like at the weekend, but everyone knows this is going to make a LOT of dough. Wall-E permitting. Fucking bastard of a wee robot.”
Back in May, when it was far more iffy whether Wanted would rock the box office coffers, we reported that writers Derek Haas and Michael Brandt were already locked in to write Wanted 2 for Universal. The original currently has a 7.7 rating on IMDB after 1,000 votes. A new R-rated comic book franchise that’s worth a damn, could it be?
Shock, horror! If any of our readers want to PhotoShop Wall-E shooting back at Millar while partying in a Jacuzzi, I will include the best/first creation in this post with credit! UPDATE: Slashfilm reader, cinexcellence, created the madness below and is forever immortal. Great job dude!

Victoria Beckham: All Business in the Big Apple
Victoria Beckham: All Business in the Big Apple
Following a night of partying with her celebrity pals at the CFDA Awards, a stylish Victoria Beckham was seen leaving her New York City hotel on Tuesday morning (June 3).
The Spice Girl-turned-designer was reportedly out bright and early to attend to some business obligations while staying in Big Apple.
Meanwhile, Posh chatted it up with press at last night’s big fashion awards gala, talking about good friend Katie Holmes and her upcoming Broadway debut in Arthur Miller’s All My Sons this fall.
“I think Katie’s incredibly talented. I’m very proud of her to be doing this play. I’m sure it’s going to be magnificent,” Victoria told Us magazine.”She’s excited and I’m excited.”
Halloween Paris Hilton Style
Halloween Paris Hilton Style
What better place to celebrate the Devil’s holiday than Sin City? Paris Hilton heard Vegas beckoning her to come and party. And that’s exactly what she did.
The hotel heiress celebrated Halloween as a devilish army girl. She played hostess at Luxor Hotel nightclub LAX.
Perhaps all the partying was a ploy to forget about the superfluous lawsuit being levied against her by a California woman, claiming that Paris “stole her look.”
Nicolle O’Neill is suing Hilton for causing her “emotional distress.” Among the allegations, O’Neill says the “Simple Life” star ripped off her style, including fashion related “patens” and “stiling” tips. In other words, wackjob.
Apparently O’Neill has complained Hilton stole her idea to expose her underwear under her trousers, along with ganking her idea to shop in vintage stores for retro-style dresses. Cuckoo!
